Doctor Who - Any Fans here?

I've been a Doctor Who fan for many years but have been unable to find most of the original episodes until recently!!

I found a set of torrents that are broken down by the Doctor & seasons!! The bummer is they are about 11-50 gigs per Doctor and they are all AVI/MPEG files which is no biggie as the DVD sets I've been able to find are between 175-200 DVD's and cost about $400-600 for the fan created DVD's. SO, I started to download the first Doctor (William Hartnell Seasons 1, 2, 3 & 4) with hopes of getting them all

I'll be more then happy to PIF the discs once I've got em'.

And the rest are up as torrents so if anyone would like the links please let me know as it would be great IF I could find other fans that would help download them, say something like I grab the William Hartnell torrent and someelse could grab Patrick Troughton and someone can get Jon Pertwee and so on, we can then swap season on DVDr (the avi/mpeg as data DVD's) this way we can team up on them and get them so much faster! (if intersted PM or email me!)

ANYWAY....

I think that this is one of the greatest scifi series concepts ever and wish that I could have seen all the Doctors other then (Hartnell, The first Baker, Eccleston or Tennant) and I just wanted fans to know that you can grab them if you got the connection!

Nope can't say I am a fan.

I may have taped every episode off of PBS and own audio versions of all the lost episodes but I hate that show, i don't even know what it is about.

I think it's a hospital show about some idiot who can't remember his own name.

I would like to pretend that the show ended in the classic era, before the sexualization of the reboot. I say would like because I can't decide whether to have my personal canon end right before the Time War ends (possibly including the K9 tv series, due to mostly being disconnected from nuWho) or bypass nuWho entirely and end before 8's regeneration. The reason involves possibly writing crossover fanfic and whether Magic School Bus 360 will be a complete continuity reboot or be in the same continuity as the old show, with different students. (Don't ask)

Yeah as much as I like some of the new stories, The Doctors, and some of the characters I do kind of like the classic series better for the simple reason that I didn't have to worry about content when kids are around. I was never very comfortable thinking or talking about sex when I was a kid so one of the things I liked about both Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes is that sex was never really mentioned. Yes I know that it is my problem and people shouldn't be censored I am just saying what personally worked for me. Sorry if that offends anyone.

Also one thing I miss about the classic show is that the producers didn't seem to worry as much about the special effects looking good so they would go to alien planets and times a lot more.

I am not saying the new series is garbage or anything like that, just that for me personally I like the classic series better.
