over the top Palpatine in that ROTS duel worked for me. at least in a so bad it was entertaining kind of way in an otherwise joyless film.
i think what detracts more from Palpatine is that line: "You can't kill him he's a SITH LORD!" and those other goofy moments when he was on the droid ship.

Well, people, it's the end for now. I hope no one is too upset by me taking down my own edits. Lucasfilm didn't contact me or anything like that...I simply felt that they needed to come down for some personal reasons. I'll be around...just not as much. Well, I can understand maybe wanting to reference some of my videos for other ideas and whatnot... but again, for some personal reasons, I felt I needed to take them down. But I know there is plenty of creativity here to go around! :D I plan to still be around giving ideas and feedback...but it'll probably be even less than before.

Your Star Wars videos are a treasure trove of ingenious ideas.
I can't imagine what dreadful personal situation you are going through to drive you to take the videos down from Youtube but I hope you reconsider or archive them anonymously elsewhere.
At least stick them on a data disc and send them to someone like doubleofive so the wishlist has some examples of what you were trying to do.
Those videos must have taken ages to do and have lots of really clever decisions in them.
They are far too important to vanish.

Added this in a different thread, but it has *always* bugged me that in teh Prequels the Venator Stardestroyers fire BLUE lazers and not GREEN, like the Imperial Star Destroyers do.
Likewise the Clonetroopers should have RED lazers that match the look and feel of the Stormtroopers.
Both should have the same sound effects, which add so much in terms of consistency.
I've always associated blue with Ion cannons (thanks to the Xwing series of games) so it's never sat right with me either.
Mace Towani from the Ewok movies used a blaster that shot blue bolts.
This is interesting.. I was amazed that they managed to make the shots of scott pillgrim simpler from the original, using various techiques. Taking inspiration of how many live action shots of the whole PT can be worked out that way. Simplifiying them to a less fancy ones or altered if you ask me can give a desirable OT feel :)

I'd be more interested to see how it could produce some invasion damage to Theed.
At no point do you get a visual sense of that being a planet suffering in anyway.
The few people you do see seem to be well fed, healthy and placid and all the buildings look untouched and perfect.
But we're told everyone is dying. What, you wanna see it too?
