i would love to have a rescored imperial theme in that scene as a bit of forshadowing

anyway anyone else notice that episode 2 doesn't seem to have as many tracks as the other movies

there are some good tracks from the clone wars series that could possibly be used

for example the battle of geonosis http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKE6D8bVvyc

It would be great to hear some new music where old music was used for sure, but I'm afraid the Clone Wars music sounds too much like TV music to me... Just my opinion though.

If only! If I found out how to perform Angel's sorcery, I'd run down my street naked singing "I've got a golden ticket".

And obv, with said powers I'd be able to photoshop real life, and make myself incredibly well endowed.

Back to TPM for a minute, that room with the pit in it (Lucas loves his death pits) what's it actually for (other than having a fight in)?

It looks as though Qui-Gon and Maul are pretty much trapped behind those force fields so why doesn't Obi-Wan just call for back up?

They could switch off Qui-Gon's door and wait until Maul get's so bored or hungry that he jumps down the pit himself.

The more I watch it the more it makes sense for that fight to take place on the droid command ship and have the reactor controls in there.

That would make it imperative that they get in there and risk getting cut down by Maul so they can shut down the droids.

you could use the beginning where the jedi fight the droids as the scene where they storm the control ship.

The Star Destroyer should be a great deal larger than the current ships.  Like 50% larger

On the nosey, welcome to how my mind works.

It seems odd now that Maul doesn't speak at all in the duel.

I get the feeling there were lines in there originally but they were all cut to make him seem cooler.

The bit where he points to Qui-Gon seems particularly odd in silence.

Agreed.

But tell me Where the battle should begin if its in the trade fed ship?

Helping me to this i might be able to make some mockups :)

I assume the jedi crash land their ship after they got hit (an other happy landing) into the hangar of the station and maul comes and finds them( when they open the door)

If you replaced the Naboo hanger with the Federation Landing craft hanger (where Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan drop out of the vent) Maul could be waiting for them there as the last obstacle.

They could land on the ship in the guise of ambassadors (but at the end of the film instead of the beginning) and the space battle could take place while they fight to get first to the bridge and latter to the secondary control in the reactor station.

Hmm.. i was considering that the space battle was already begun so they couldnt find much resistance. But eventualy got shot and they crash land to the hangars so the duel can start.

Im still considering if maul can destroy the reactor with his fall or just leave anakin have something to bother..

Not sure about the bridge tho. The shots of the duel are ticky. Assuming they fight along the various sections of the hangar(naboo has pretty large interiors so this helps :)

In my take the blockade is still there (the Chancellor knows this in TPM anyway, we read about it in the opening crawl, the only reason for removing it is to give Anakin a single target to accidentally hit).

Instead of hitting the one and only ship by accident he blows up A ship on purpose.

Just testing..

Removing as much of the yellow this battle has :)

Fancy that the only "masks" i used was for the SD engine.. :P
