I did some tests to remove that dreamy wtf fog and replace it with something more like pollution and fog.

Lovely work Angel, perhaps the engine glow is a bit too colourful, it might look a bit better shifted to the red side of the spectrum (more Tantive than Star Destroyer).
The only problem I have with the ROTS crawl is the first word "WAR!" the whole series is called Star Wars so why should we be surprised that there is a war going on (especially as this was underlined in the end coda of the previous episode)?

how hard would it be to create an ending for ROTS that is like a coronation scene for the emperor? he could be enthroned in a similar manner to ROTJ, and perhaps the scene could end with vader kneeling before him. that could replace the whole death star thing, and maybe be a good entrance for vader.

I agree Angel.
I don't mind at all that he isn't the top dog, but having him kneel really disempowers him for me. The last thing I want to see is more of it.
As for whether that sort of scene could be achieved. Yes, it can be done. But can it be done well? And why would Palpatine need coronating? He's been in that position for what, 15 years? More? All he does is retitle himself and order a change of stationery.
I don't think you need worry about it becoming almost monochrome, you've already added enough ambient green to get away with white engine glare (or maybe even the same sort of peachy colour that we see coming from the platform lights).
Nice reworking of the Sith shot though Vader has a bit of a stoop (he also tends to look up when thinking about the future).
The kneeling worked in ESB because no-one thinks Vader has to kneel to anyone and then this spooky weird guy turns up and we are forced into the situation of wondering how powerful this new chap must be.
Besides the kneeling position is a good way of finding a soft spot for sticking a blade in.
vader most definitely should kneel before the great powerful emperor palpatine!

i guess it would be a bit of an obvious scene really. i love your ROTJ and ROTS mockups btw, and the smog works perfectly in that AOTC scene!
Id prefer a nazi hailing from everybody else to the emperor. vader is near to Palps as guardian and silent shadow.
