The Predator The No Dam Dogs Edition V2 (Released)

I have just finished my re tweaked V2 of The Predator V2, this differs from the initial version hosted on everyone’s personal organ, I removed that due to arguments from members of an off topic subject matter which distracted from the fan edit.

The purpose of this fan edit is to foremost remove every aspect of those Dam Predator Dogs.

The movie runs at a lean 87 mins and removes or tightens 100’s of areas of the movie with small and big edits.

To start with I isolated the score to 6 streams so i could remove some of the over used areas of the original Predator music cues.

I then went to work with the following.

The predator crash landing stream lined
The hostage opening and bad lines trimmed, tightened
The predator first encounter trimmed, tightened, Predator tech/ball removed V2
Helicopter search tightened
Mckenna posting items removed all aspects of invisibility and the predator tech/ball removed V2
Boy walking home trimmed
Mckenna introduced to the loonies trimmed
Casey introduction to Stargazer Head Quarters trimmed removed silly jokes
Introduction to the Predator trimmed removed one liner from original movie
Predator escape trimmed, tightened
Loonies on the bus all bad jokes trimmed, tightened
The chase reorganised and trimmed
New Predator coming to earth, new subtitles added V2
The predator attacking soldiers cut
Casey in Hotel trimmed
McKenna and his wife with loonies, cut, trimmed and re organised V2
The new Predator with his dogs trimmed
Search for his son heavilly reorganised, cut and scenes added V2 see link for sample

This area is used with areas from Aliens vs Predator Requiem but all dogs removed
McKenna, Casey and Nebraska interrogation reorganised, trimmed and cut to remove The Predator dogs
The Spaceship compound trimmed, tightened, cut and reorganised
McKenna giving his son invisibility ball cut V2
Compound joining forces, trimmed and cut to remove Predator dog
Explosion trimmed to remove Predator dog
Fire fight in forest trimmed when they get killed they just die not silly expanded deaths
Spaceship fall trimmed
Final fight trimmed with Predator all areas of invisibility removed
End of the movie redone to remove what ever the hell that Predator tech thing was, this is redone leaving a lot more to the imagination without seeing what was in the casket.

If I can figure out to share this for free with anyone more than happy to try.

Has anyone actually seen this? Truly dying to see this!! Can’t wait to see this!!

I mean, I’m sure this movie DOES belong among/within the Predator universe, even though we have “Billy”“Black” as director. Now this edit of Lorang (reading from info) seems as the most realistic cut/edit that’s been done and since the movie, well, as we all know was a real "horr(able)or watch. I’m quite certain that editor Lorang surely did succeed in what needed to be done. considering cutting but also music and effects.
So again, please fellow O.R. member, if you have indeed seen this edit, please advance and notify me… (even though if it’s only comments…

It does, -doesn’t it Slaven!! Like a true and worthy sequal to the Predator franchise! However, It seems nobody (atleast of which I’ve been in contact with that is) has actually seen this one yet. I can only guess that either the publisher/editor never had intentions of ever releasing it, or, somehting got in the way. Either way, would be a sin not to publish it when he’ve so far so succesfully realeased both seqments aswell as sharing thoughts and info about release right here on O.R.

Ah well, truly understand if people are not interested in this edit since the Predator franchise lately has been so "over"explored and used to almost it limits, but that don’t mean “someone” (did I mention author of this edit) can fix it with a couple of tweaks. Would really like to edit it myself but with the hardware I’m using, it’s only a wish come true. With that said, I hope more will join this topic aswell as hoping (even if not me) that someone else will please get a hold of lorang for somekind of resolution.

guys this was released as a V1 on another site a private tracker just think of your spleen.

However I removed this after a few days due to some members starting an argument over a plot story revolving around the young boy on the movie that had no relevance to this fan edit.

I completed V2 with a few more trims here and there removing the silly invisible ball but due to the above incident I didn’t upload it.

I have no issues sharing this if someone messages me how to do this without it costing me to set some form of shared drive up if it’s free more than happy to do this.

okay, I see. Sad to hear people wasn’t fond of it no matter on how you edited it and which “way/turn” you took when it comes to editing and/or (if any) plot alteration. I simply guess too many people nowadays simply can’t watch an edit without having their own kind of vision for it, thus, resulting in them thinking. -This was not what I wanted, -This is not what it should’ve been.

I Guess people simply need to learn how to watch movies/edits with an open mind. Not only out of respect for the editor (which to me is given) but also because, once you have an idea on what a movie/edit will be, it will for sure, no matter what, disapoint you in some way or another.

Me, myself really look forward to see this one, since I’m certain it’s way better (taking your repsonse in consideration) than most people understand. Not only Interested in to see how you’ve edited it but also on which approach you choosed.

Overall it’s really interesting what you’ve come up with in this edit. Like written, sounds indeed interesting!

Really look forward seeing it since I’m most certain you’ve pulled it off way better than the original. Can’t even begin to wonder why in the… Black choose the way he did, but as watching the “behind scenes on DVD” Black, and I quote (not exact choice of words but similar). -It was fun to play around with, the genre at whole but especeially making something new out of the Predator franshise…! Guess, he totally forgot watching the original (he was in) before starting “Directing” a new sequal without taking many, many ánd even more aspects in mind when it comes to especially “Yutjas/Predators”. Ah well…

Really wanted to like The Predator, as I saw the original in the cinema back in the day and have loved it ever since. So I’d love to see if this mess can be improved upon by hacking lumps out of it. Might try it myself one day if I feel there’s hope.

I wasn’t being funny - I was trying to be helpful… given it seemed you didn’t know how to send a PM / were unsure about it in your earlier post…

Apologies for being abrupt.
I was expecting a big PM button somewhere, but soon figured it out and messaged him. Hopefully I’ll hear from him soon, really don’t want to sit through the theatrical cut again.
Actually been toying with the idea of buying the Blu-ray and doing my own edit, but I’ll see if others have had any luck improving it first.
