Although Trooperman has brought this up in the Off Topic forum, i hope that later on in this website u can be able to upload your own personal avatar.

I'm building the forum software from scratch. It'll be very simple at first to keep it stable and fast, and I'll add features over time. I'll try to include avatar uploads in the first release.

well i havent used ASP.NET as most of the stuff I program isnt web-based. but im sure i could pick it up relativly quick. so my offer stands, even if you just need help with some debugging or just need to run something by someone else, as I know just talking out a problem with someone has allowed me to come up with a solution in the past.
