Hello everybody - I apologize for my ignorance, but I am new to the forums. I have been searching for unreleased Star Wars features, and came across this site. RowMan's bonus discs to each of the original trilogy films seem to be exactly what I'm looking for. I'm having trouble locating the downloads, though. I need a registration to access myspleen, which I don't have. (I'm not even sure if these are on myspleen, I just saw some links to it in the posts). It is also available on Usenet, but I would prefer to avoid having to pay for a membership. Is there anyway I could just get a torrent? Or is there another way?

Oh, also, I'm on a Mac, if that makes any difference. I'd be willing to send a blank disc to someone, but I'd prefer to be able to just download these directly to avoid the shipping costs.

Really? I'm actually trying that as we speak, but I was under the impression it's a 3 G limit. Am I mistaken?

Ok, so I was downloading the ANH bonus disc from my UseNEXT trial and made it to 92% before I reached my download limit. I only have a few files remaining. Is there any way to finish this download / get the others without paying for a Usenet subscription? I'm sorry to be such a pain about this, but you guys are my only hope at seeing this beyond buying it off ebay or paying for Usenet, and considering that some of the stuff (particularly the deleted magic, building empire, etc) were created to be seen for free, I think I should be able to find another way. Am I out of options?

Alright, so I've got one last issue here. I managed to download the ANH bonus disc (thanks for all your help). I'm figuring out the Usenet situation. However, the ESB and ROTJ are listed as not having all of the required files. Well, ESB says it does, but when I try to download several of the files are "incomplete" despite several download attempts. The ROTJ says it only has 99% of the required files. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Hi All, been looking for the Rowman Bonus Features disc(s) for ages. Would anyone accept Paypal payment to send me a copy?  Even if it's just to cover postage and blank discs?  Please! I have these documentaries on vhs in bad quality and I would love to get to see them on DVD.

I was wondering if it was still possible to find this collection anywhere, or if these features are on anything else, as I can't find it anywhere on the internet at all. That or the files are all completely expired, and ebay doesn't even have them.

Okay, they are NTSC and definitely the best quality.

The RowMan ROTJ bonus disc is corrupt.  Specifically, it goes bad just before the 18 minute mark on the "Soundtrack!" THX promo.

If ANYONE has this disc and the image is not corrupted, PLEASE contact me.

I thought the same, but the problem is definitely with the image itself.  Something got corrupted somewhere and I have already removed the rars from my machine.  I tried different programs and even a different burner, but the error occurs in the exact same place.  So, that tells me that it is definitely not my equipment.  All I can think of to do is to download the disc again.

I re-downloaded the disc.  The exact same error occurs.  I give up.  Please PM if you have a good copy.

Okay, here we go.

At 17:48 of the "Soundtrack!" THX promo, everything is fine.

At 17:52 the pixelating begins and lasts a second or two.

At 17:54 it becomes part of something involving Jabba, not the THX promo.

At 17:59 it goes back to the THX promo, then the image freezes, the sound stops, but the DVD player counter keeps running until I stop it.

This behavior happens on two standalone DVD players, my Blu-ray player, and my computer's DVD drive.  I tried it 3 different times and used 2 different burning programs, as well as downloading the whole disc all over again.

I might be having a ROTJ bonus disc coming in the mail, so I can finally put this to rest.
