I had a funny feeling that another version existed.

I recall seeing screenshots on one of Rikters pages of the 3 film menu's and the 4 disc extras set and the 3 bonus discs were different to the ones I now have.

As this set is in general public release, I would like to if possible add this other version to the DVD version pages to assist future readers.

Do you or anyone else have those screenshots. Rikters page seems to be long gone otherwise I would have got them there.

A few words from the creator about the official titles of each version would be appreciated too.

Thanks in advance.

Hot on the heels of the 4 Rowman extras DVD'd posted on a.b.sw by Segaflip is a version of the The Star Wars Holiday Special - KCCI - RowMan Transfer, re-authored, with different chapter break points.

The Angrysun DVD had the best video I have seen so far of the Star Wars Holiday Special, but the chapter placement seemed pretty arbitrary. So, I reauthored it with chapter stops after each of the cheesier sections of the program (like Harvey Korman's alien cook) which makes it easy to skip those parts. And there is a chapter stop at the beginning of the Boba Fett cartoon so you can go directly to that (from the scene selection menu) if you want to avoid Diahann Carroll or Jefferson Starship.

The versions with the generic, film-type menus screens shown earlier in this thread are Version 1. These discs were later updated with SW style menu screens, but the content remained the same. This version could be called Version 1.1 . My latest EditDroid-style editions were revamped with updated menus, better transfers, content additions, and content deletions. I would say that these discs would be Version 2. I'll dig out the old discs and give complete info with menu shots on the older versions soon.

Can I just say how much I love the classic Star Wars community? People like you, Rowman, make me a very happy geek. I can't wait to get these once they're up on Myspleen or the like.

Were any actually created? If so any chance they can be posted? Or uploaded or Grisan's Site maybe?

Many thanks to all in the community who continue to make these great Fan edit/transfers!

/goes back to frantically trying to get them all burned and off his HD to make room to download the rest!

Sorry. I've been away for a bit. If anyone still cares, I was able to dig up the main menus for my V1.1 bonus discs.

I care!!

Ta for the screenshots, they are as I remember from Rikter's long lost pages.

I have updated the page with all your details on. They look kinda neat side-by-side.

Thanks again and I look forward to any future releases of yours that come our way.

Hi all,

Just burnt and watched the ANH bonus disc, and wow, what quality. Having checked out the contents list of ESB (which I'm halfway through downloading on MySpleen), all I can say is 'how gutted am I that I spent hours and hours downloading the Clapperboard special and makings of seperatly '

Good job Rowman
