This project interests me a lot. Do you think I can get the link for both movies? Thanks!
Hi smudger9, could I please have a link to your 3 edits? Season 3 has reignited my passion for SW…
Thanks, I will check them out. I’ve heard good stuff about them

Hi, can you send me the links for the three episodes? Just to have the “final cut” of the three episodes. Thanks.
Can I please get the link to download this?
Hi, I started watching this episode and it’s great so far! Will post my thoughts once finishing it. One thing I would argue for the beginning though is to reinstate a version of the first scene, as it introduces Mando in a much cooler way. In this version, the crawl states he’s an expert bounty hunter, but the first scene we get with Din is a dinosaur wiping the floor with him. Seeing how cool he is for his first scene would do a lot, although it would add to the runtime slightly.
Somewhat unrelated, but after the Filoni movie announcement I’ve been thinking of ways to combine all these shows into one storyline - it might be cool to label the movie saga as Heir to the Empire and have the subtitle be the focus. S1 could be The Mandalorian, S2 could be The Jedi, Boba could be The Bounty Hunter, and S3 could relate to Bo. Then Ahsoka would follow a similar theme, and eventually the real movie. This way all the shows could follow one storyline with each “film” focusing on a different thing.

I dont disagree with you about the opening scene. One of the difficulties with making these movie edits is deciding what needs to be sacrificed for structure and pacing, and to protect the runtime. It does show us Mando at his bounty hunting peak, but in terms of pacing it made the first act too long. I tried to compensate by removing most of the occasions where he gets shot (Ig-11, Fennec, Gideon) to make him seem a more competent warrior - he gets shot an awful lot of times during season 1.

I would try to edit that in myself and see how it works but I’m not sure I have the skill to create the transition from the crawl to the scene lol.
Your trailer for this project looks very promising! I would love to get a link to the fan edit for all 4 episodes and the two Andors too.

When you get around to making the updated version based on the physical discs, I would love it to have HDR.

Ahh yes, finally the physical discs! It would be great if we got some deleted scenes with them!

Oh wow this is really going to be an incredible experience. I have only seen season one of The Mandalorian, so i would love to re experience your edits. I don’t think i will see the originals at all, certainly not season 3 with all the negative feedback. Thanks for doing this for us Star Wars fans! Could i please get the link to All of The Mandalorian works you have done as well as Andor please? in 4k HDR if possible or whatever best quality you have. Thank you again smudger9 for all your work.

Now that there’s a physical version, this edit can be submitted to fanedit.org once it uses the discs as a source.

Absolutely, although it can’t be submitted until the physical disc is available to buy, which is Dec 12th.

I know I’m late to the party, but WOW was that good! The perfect audio transitions alone speak to how masterful this edit is. The beginning felt a little too fast paced, as we are no longer given a proper introduction to the Mandalorian, but after the first 20 minutes or so, the pacing hits a good stride and the rest of the movie is more or less perfect.
