What did you all think of the Medstar series? Or have you had a chance to pick it up yet?

I just bought the second one, but I haven't had time to read it yet.

I thought the first one was pretty good, since its co-written by Michael Reaves there are some returning characters that you would never expect to ever see again from his earlier Darth Maul novel. I thought that was pretty cool since I enjoyed his Darth Maul stories (which more or less concentrated on unknown characters than the main characters which appeared on the covers: Darth Maul and Bariss Offee).

That said, if you only want to know about the main characters, wait for Jedi Trial or that Yoda novel coming out later this year. But if you don't mind hearing about characters that have never been seen before, you're in for a pretty good read that gives us some insight into what it was like on the frontline of the Clone Wars and the morality questions that were raised during that time.

Agreed.

But I might cave eventually: all this down time waiting for Survivor's Quest paper back is really getting to me.

Wow, that was pretty good.

I thought that the NJO was horrible. The way Han was portrayed in the series was just bad.

Well, his main parts of the series were during the time after Chewie's death...

I thought that he was perfect in Agents of Chaos.

Han wasn't used a whole lot through the middle. The only thing that seemed out of characters was his making puns ten minutes after Anakin died in SbS....

Yeah, after AoC he just seemed to be making cocky puns at the most awkward moments. And I just knew if I saw "roguish grin" one more time, I was gonna snap

I guess. But his parts with Leia in the Enemy Lines duology were perfect!
