Yes, now I work with subtitles for my version (because it has russian sound track). I use one-voice pirated sound translation, so this is not difficult to me to re-voice one character with lines from another character, because they all have one stupid voice. :) So now it is imposible to create english version of my film with original voices...

After I finish this I'll try to upload it somewhere.

Also I paste in my version many russian rock songs. Sometimes it helps to understand thas's happens on screen, but it's not so nessesary to understand lyrics.

Interesting look, although I'm not intending to make it look grainy and worn. I'm taking inspiration from neo-noir films such as The Man Who Wasn't There and Sin City, rather than trying to make it look like it was made in the '40s itself.

Grainy and scratched version was created then I find that video quality is already bad. :))) It's just an addition filter for trailer, and full version has no scratches.

Any news on the project ?

too bad that Alexander took his clips offline ...

I always had my thoughts about how to make Matrix a consistent story - leave out Part 2 and fill in the gaps or forget about Part 3 and make an new ending.

While a cool idea, you can just (temporarily) turn off the color on most displays to achieve the same effect.

Edit: Forgot you meant not all scenes.

Wow, I first (indeed, last) posted about this concept more than ten years ago?

So I’m, uh, actually making this now. A proof of concept (consisting of the opening Trinity vs. Agents action scene) is completed and will be posted alongside my first edit, Scott Pilgrim vs. the Editor, which is pending Fanedit Academy approval.

I still intend to replace some of the music, but rather than going for a pure noir pastiche, I want to lean into the TRON angle and draw on some synthwave — Muse’s latest album in particular, Simulation Theory, seems almost tailor-made for this. To this end, I’ve settled on a slight rejig of the title: The Matrix: Édition Noir et Néon. Pun on our hero’s name entirely intended.

More details to come, probably in a fresh thread rather than this one.
