One of my favorite films, extremly funny.

I have heard some people have the Mask Workprint.

Anyone has The Mask workprint that can upload it to Usenet?

Good luck... I've looked for it for a while too. It seems extremely rare, though not as rare as, say, Boogie Nights or Robocop II workprints. But it's one of those workprints that only circulate in trades.

You could re-create the workprint using the deleted scenes that are on the official DVD. Quality isn't as good as the rest of the film, but workprints are often that way anyway.
I am fluent in over six million forms of procrastination.

The workprint has, among others, a temp score, no SFX and Carey doing almost every Mask scene with only the green rubber prop - and, of course, scenes missing from the DVD or the DVD-ROM contents. You could indeed recreate it - if you had the whole cast, crew and the editing studio from New Line A.D. 1995.

That would be very cool to watch!

Do you have it?

Anyone that has it, please please upload it

Is that all you need? Hell, someone gets me some Plutonium (or just some trash for Mr. Fusion), I'll pull the DeLorean around, and let's do it!
We don't have enough road to get up to 88.

The Mask Workprint
Alternate beginning plus a few extras. Alot of the special effects have also not been finished so Jim Carrey had to act out all the scenes which would later be enhanced with CGI. Very amusing. 5/10

I might be getting a copy, if the trader feels like being generous. I'll post back here if I do get it.

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

RE: Robocop II -- be sure to check out the interviews with Kershner and Noonan in the Spring 2004 Shock Cinema -- I seem to remember him talking a bit about it. I want to say that the Miller script is out around too.

I'd be interested even just to know if it contains only the deleted scenes, or if it has the original ending, with Dorian being blown up on the ship and the Peenman Mask grabbing Charlie's privates and chasing him into the sunset...

I actually may have found another source. I'll keep everyone posted.

Is the source "V-shack"? If so, don't expect a reply.

No, I couldn't get it out of him, it's another guy. I did squeeze the Gattaca workprint out of the Videoshack guy, though.

Any chance we'll see a transfer of that some day? Gattaca is one of my favorite movies of all time.
