Yay, more extraneous seams & lines.

Yeah, nothing tops the original. Though a few come close.
Man, Marvel’s digital de-aging is INSANE.
VENOM (2018)
Hoo boy was I cautious going into this movie. Sony stepping out on their own without Marvel’s involvement has never been a formula for success. But this is still tangentially connected to the greater MCU so I had to give it a shot. And it was alright. It’s very campy but not in a bad way. It’s a fun film with a dark edge.
Camp is good. It looks like I’m going to be seeing this tomorrow.

It is?
.
As I said, tangentially. The way its structured is that there’s the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe which include Spider-man’s main films and then there’s Sony’s pocket universe consisting of the various spin-offs that Sony has planned. Holland’s Spider-man can crossover into either but the MCU will never acknowledge anything that may happen in the pocket universe. To Peter Parker its all one continuous universe but not to anyone else.
That sounds infinitely confusing, contrived, and stupid.
Welcome to Sony. =P
Well, their films division anyways.
I’d say I’d prefer a Sonyverse completely separate from the MCU, but if the Sonyverse sucks anyway, it doesn’t make a difference.
looks good, i’m excited.
Man, Marvel is on a tear right now!
Weird, I see to remember people here saying RT audience scores are always fair and honest?

I do need therapy.
Poster is nice, but I’ll never understand why some Marvel logos look like absolute crap.
But what is Thor looking at? What’s over there?!
