Well it’s not like the MCU movies have great plots or anything. The Winter Soldier has a cool spy espionage plot, and Civil War has a nice personal story, but the rest have bland plots. I watch MCU movies for their dialogue, action scenes and talented acting, not groundbreaking movies.
Not enough people read the EU.

So what did everyone think of Slingshot? I thought it was pretty great. Helped to bridge that huge gap between the last two seasons and expand on the director a little as well. It also allowed Yo-Yo to spread her wings a bit. Hopefully she’ll be featured in the show more often if not become a series regular.

It can’t be worse, can it? The only thing I liked outta those two movies was Spidey’s costume in ASM2. It was perfect. Much better than the Homecoming design. But there’s no way Homecoming’s story and characters will be worse than ASM 1 n’ 2.

It’s kind of a shame about the costume in ASM2 because I think the big eyes would fit perfectly with Holland’s characterization. But it makes sense that they’d want to do something completely different with the outfit,

Except the Ditko costume is red and black and awesome. The MCU Spidey costume is neither of those latter two things.

^ Yeah. The webbed armpits are there, but the rest of the new design doesn’t look like the original. Actually, the ASM1 costume gave the Ditko vibe more than Homecoming one does.
