The Mandalorian I -an alternative cut (RELEASED)

My edit serves as an alternative to smudger9’s The Mandalorian: A Vergence in the Force.

My less than creatively titled, The Mandalorian I, basically merges episodes 1-3 & 7-8 with The Mandalorian’s first job from episode 1 now occurring between the events of episodes 3 and 7 (a heavily edited/abbreviated version of this scene). Current runtime is 2hrs,43min but I’m hoping to trim it down to somewhere in the 2hrs,35min range.

At the moment a rough cut exists without an opening and without end credits.

I’m only making this because I dislike episode 4 (extremely) as well as the other “filler” episodes, and think that Cara Dune’s reintroduction in episode 7 is sufficient enough to imply a history between her and Mando.

I’m open to feedback and sharing if there’s interest but I’m mainly doing this for my own pre-season-2 rewatch.

Just not really worrying about it too much, other than that it’s the most personally enjoyable/interesting scene to fill that time gap with compared to what they gave us.

Also, chopped off the scene where Moff Gideon rises with his darksaber from the tie fighter wreckage… just in case season 2 sucks (but I’m sure that omitting this will work even if season 2 is great)

*I hope it’s great, but the lack of sizzle-reel-esque footage has me concerned
