Idea: The Lion King (2019) edit idea SPOILERS (i guess...)

So just got out of Lion King and though the film has flaws there’s one major thing that I want to change. Right after Simba communes with his father the cookie cutter lame Bey song “Spirit” plays when it clearly should have been “He Lives In You” from the broadway show. Worst part of the movie in terms of content.

Another problem with the film is the Lions (or really any of the animals) have facial emotions…

After being beaten and battered by prequel hate, I promise not to be that to the next generation.

my version will be having the 1994 audio. I’ll be replacing all the sound, voice actors, music, fxs, all with sounds from the original, and only Lion King.

To me, Star Wars is a brand that means quality, just because it’s a bad SW film, doesn’t mean it’s a bad movie.

I like this idea! I thought about this myself when it was released. One suggestion: Keep ONLY John Oliver as Zazu. Might be harder for the singing parts, but at least for dialog I think that would be great. I haven’t seen the remake yet, but I love the idea of him being casted for that role.
