Here is an article I've compiled for a DVD site I write for. In it, you'll find alot of the deleted scenes with pictures to go along.

Nice job on article, Hardcore.

That is the first time I've seen the talked-about Grievous/Shaakti pic and I have to say it looks like a bad Photoshop job to me. I imagine someone did it as a mock-up after the kick-ass 'Clone Wars' cartoon confrontation between the two.

Couple things, first greencapt, I think I may have stole that image of the script book from you. If you would like me to take it down, I will. Second, that Shaakti pic I believe is pretty legit. I think it's just previsualization stuff.

LOL. Thought the script capture looked familiar... No problem at all! That's why I shared it in the first place!

Do you (or anyone) know where in the script the Grievous/Shaakti thing was to have gone? I can't really picture it having fit in anywhere.

Well, I would think it would have to have been on The Invisible Hand. From what I understand, she was guarding Palps when he was captured in the Clone Wars, and it would only seem logical that she would attempt the rescue. Others have said that her death was left out because she is to be part of the new hour long television series, but who knows.

I looked in the "Making of Revenge of the Sith" book in Barnes & Noble the other day and it looks like both Shaak Ti scenes were shot. The scene where she is killed by Grievous was shot during principal "photography". It looks like they decided to scrap that scene in favor of the version where Anakin kills her, because there's a part about that in the section about post production. There were images from both scenes in the book.

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

Was there any mention about Mace giving her instructions before he left? I've heard that originally he gives her a heads up that there may be retaliation for their movement against the Chancellor and that she must prepare herself as their are very few Jedi Knights left in the city.

Next time I'm in B&N, I'll check. Or I'll probably buy the book. Either way, I'll post back when I know something more.

I've still unconvinced but could someone tell me that either Anakin or Grievous kills Shaak Ti.

Unconvinced? About what? Right now, no one killed her, except it can be assumed a young jedi named Darth Vader, who was......

Until the television series plot line is announced, it is unclear if Shaak Ti dies or not. Rumors are she survives and is the thorn in Darth Vader's side.

In ep3, it was confirmed that Shaak Ti is dead, it's either Anakin or Grievous that kills her.

When? Yes, two scenes were filmed, but right now neither is in the film. Was it said in the film that she was dead?

Exactly, I hope so too. However, like I said, they may just vanish since Shaak Ti is being talked about as one of the characters in the television show.

Just got done reading the making of ROTS book, and alot of little scenes have I found. Kidding aside, I no know where Shaak Ti dies. Obi Wan and Anakin come upon Shaak Ti standing in a hallway, with battle droids standing behind her, as if she is leading them. Suddenly, you see a cloak open and her lightsaber (along with two others in it) hanging there. You hear the power on sound and the blade rips through her back. Grevious is then revealed.

The Yoda on Dagobah scene was done digitally and was in the film as of the printing of that book.

really now that bloody pissed me off. Why are there no matte paintings of Dagobah in the background?

Was there any deleted scene or segment in ROTS that definitively addressed who ordered the clones and manipulated the Jedi archives?

No, unfortuanatly.

No, but to clear things up, in the original draft of the script (that included Han Solo), Palpatine reveals to Anakin that he manipulated the force to create him, thus making him like a 'father' to which Anakin replies, "Noooooooo, that's impossible". Palp says, "Search your feelings, and you'll know it to be true."
