Hi, first introduce myself: my username is A112 and i’m a faneditor novice, this is my first project and this is my first post,
Because next year the fifth installment Dead Men Tell No Tales is released, I decided to create a Fanedit of the fourth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean as provisional title is ‘’ The Legacy of Jack Sparrow: The Fountain of Youth ‘’ wanted to change the title to emphasize that this is NOT the fourth film of Pirates of the Caribbean, is rather a spin-off focused on Jack Sparrow. My intention is to release before the premiere of DMTNT, but I have no definite date and I fear that might linger more than I calculate, but if all goes well will be released before DMTNT.
Ok, some changes (not the complete list, as they are at least 100)
-Remove the Prologue
-no false Jack Sparrow
-reducing child behavior of the King of England.
-Remove the romance between Jack and Angelica, they are now frenemies
-Remove the zombies, so there is no prophecy
-Remove Blackbeard feeling affection for Angelica, it does not match what you will do at the end of the movie.
-Reduced to three scenes the romance between Philip and Syrena, have less chemistry, but is less annoying.
-Remove the subplot of Angelica suspecting that Blackbeard could betray him at any time (we really need a reason to suspect Blackbeard?)
-Remove some ridiculous lines
-Philip is murdered by Blackbeard and Syrena cries.
-Blackbeard dies in battle.
-Remove many unnecessary scenes.
-There’s a new ending
-New introduction for Jack Sparrow: The new prologue shows us the same scene in which they condemn Gibbs, but we do not see the alleged judge in any shot, we only see the Gibbs shots or the back of his head, then we see the judge go, to remove the wig and surprise: It’s Jack.
-Integration of deleted scenes: of the five deleted scenes, would only integrate “Old Bill”, due to the references to the ride and perhaps the scene that they showed in the trailers in which Jack is hit by Mermaid, because it is a reference to… to women hating Jack. Of the other scenes, Well, ‘’ Smart, now ‘’ and ‘’ Tonight ‘’ are stupid and ‘’ Tango ‘’ although it has some reference to Tia Dalma, it would be unnecessary and involves the romance between Jack and Angelica. -Deleting 90% of the Spaniards: I do not want to eliminate them completely, since the scenes of Barbossa and Jack stealing the calices are by far, of the best of all the film (in fact the film had to be that), In this version, we are told at first that they have discovered the Foutain of Youth and then Jack and Barbossa steal the chalices, but other than that, we do not see them again.
-Recoloring the movie: I can not think what tone to give the movie, but I felt the original was a bit boring.
