Yes, it has an inaccurate portrayal of Reconstruction-era formerly-enslaved-but-now-battling-Jim-Crow African-Americans, but it also helps pass on important African-American Uncle Remus folktales and I can't imagine a child forming a negative opinion (or any opinion for that matter) of African-Americans from this at all.

Really, all a proper release would need would be an introduction explaining it and maybe a new MPAA rating.
Which is what they did with the Leonard Maltin intros on the World War II cartoons.
With Disney movies airing on TCM a couple times a year now, I'm hoping they find some way to show it.
