PM me for the link to the Blu-ray ISO.

Well, after getting the new UK Blu-ray, I was disappointed to find out that it was the same version of the film from the US Shout! Factory release a few years back. Brand New Restoration my ass…

Anyway, I looked carefully at the trailer and some production photos when I realized that the film is supposed to have a cold bluish tint, and it’s actually quite dark. Figuring out a way to restore that without making the whole thing look wrong was challenging, but I think I’m happy with the results. As promised, the original Mono soundtrack has been restored and the final Blu-ray ISO will be ready hopefully by Monday.

Here are some screenshots from the mangowolf Edition:

I love when fans fix colors and add original theatrical sound to films such as this. Looks great! Wish you luck and can’t wait to see the end result!

Currently working on another color regrade since I wasn’t very happy with the first one. I’ll try to get some screen caps to you sometime tomorrow. The BD-50 itself will probably be released by friday or early saturday.

I have a bootleg copy of the German DVD. The deleted scenes have been edited back into the film, but without any clean up or restoration of the additional footage.

If I didn’t know this was an official German DVD release, I would have mistaken it for a fan edit, still, very interesting to see the extra material in context.

Having some technical problems, so it’s taking longer than expected. I’ll try to get this released sometime next week.

I want to go back into this project, but I recently learned about the blu-ray release in the UK last year. I don’t know how it looks, but it claims to be a new restoration. So, I’m going to order a copy of that, see how it looks and whether or not it has the mono audio track (I’ve heard whispers that it does.). If this release fixes the issues I had with the previous release, this project may be cancelled. Scream Factory also just announced a Steelbook Edition, but my guess is that its the Collectors Edition blu-ray repackaged.
