Cool, for some reason I thought you were American. If that means English is your second language, you write it far better than a lot of native English speakers, which is probably why I thought you were from an English speaking country.

Actually no, she did learn a bit of english, german and french at school, but has, since, never longed to ameliorate her skills by further learning above basic level. Her mispronunciation of "Lonsdale" has been a subject of ridicule for years now.

The Christmas liturgical season ends on the feast of the Baptism of Christ which is the Sunday after Epiphany (which for Catholics is the nearest Sunday to the sixth of January). The octave of Christmas (that's Christmas-Christmas*) begins on December 25 (Christmas-Christmas-Christmas* ;) ) and ends after seven more days, making it eight days in total (of course).

*We don't actually call it that. ;)
