Anyways, the showing went alright, not as well as we had hoped, but not bad. This is probably because most of the Seniors/Juniors have sports after school. I've talked to many of them and they said that they would have liked to go, but had to go to practice. So I'm thinking we might to a back-to-back showing for ESB.
Yeah a lot of people I talked to too. Jocks you know...go figure. I just don't know if I can sit through Empire twice in a row.
Updates:
-Isolated score is synced up.
-Empire is being shown next week instead of this week, and Jedi two weeks later, giving me three weeks to work on Jedi.
You know, I forgot about Jedi. Did you ever work on that?
No :(. I got swamped and we just planned to show OCP's Jedi. Of course a variety of things happened after that and we never actually got around to showing Jedi anyway.
Dunedain is right in this case, Empire was the first one I did, sourced from the DVD, with the 2006 DVD release of Empire used as the alternate source. It's not technically "beta", though with what I'm doing now, I kind of consider it beta, maybe just consider it the version that I liked until I realized I could do better. It was generally well received when it was released over a year ago. If anybody would like a copy, they can PM me and we can set it up, the torrent for it (at least the original one that I, myself, posted) has been dead a long time. I'm not sure if anyone has posted torrents for it since (.avis for example)
I'll be editing ESB and ROTJ much differently than I'm editing ANH right now. It wasn't until I edited my Batman edit (Batman: Year One) as well as my Batman vs Superman crossover edit, that I figured out a very efficient way to edit HD material (for a fucking Bats vs Supes edit, you need to be able to work pretty efficiently! lolz). Editing Star Wars now is very slow as my computer can't render the HD frames in Adobe Premiere very quickly, but ESB and ROTJ will get the boost of speed from all I've learned about doing Hi-Def complex editing structures from my HD fan-edits. If hard drive space provides, I may do them side by side, releasing them that much more quickly. ESB 2.0 may end up being released last, as we find out more about what we're doing with this 35mm print of Empire.
Thanks for the continued interest everybody :)
