Info Wanted: The Definitive Collection (laserdics) still photographs...

Does anyone know if ALL the still photographs (sketches, behind the scenes, special effect, etc.) that are on the Definitive Collection laserdics are available somewhere as .jpg (or any other format)?

Thats a good question. I am sure I have a bunch of em, but prolly not all. I'm sure that someone here has all or at leas the rest.

I also have a bunch but not all.

I can capture the stills from ld ofcourse (and they are already available on dvd) but it would be so much cooler to have all the stills as .jpg (and the quality will be sooo much better).

Arnie, I'd be happy to contribute what I've got. Maybe if you put up you had in a photobucket album, others could see what we needed and chip in.

Sound like agood idea, but how will people know what stills are missing?

Very nice collection! Thanks for sharing, Darth Neo.

NTSC stills need to be resized for proper aspect ratio when viewed on a computer screen. Viewing a 720x480 NTSC still on a computer screen turns circles into ovals and makes people look shorter and wider than in reality. If someone wants to put these on a web page, they need to be resized.

Conveniently enough, I resized them to 640x480 and they can be found here.

You're all welcome. Whenever I can contribute I will of course.....

A bit off topic here but:

after a too long hiatus where work was more important than life I'm back to finish StarWarsArchives and start contributing to the Star Wars forum again. I will be updating StarWarsArchives quite a bit in the coming time so stay tuned...
For now I have added about 17 new magazines to StarWarsArchives.com as well as a new gallery for some rare "Pit of Carkoon" images from the French Lucasfilm magazine. Those images can also be found on the forum in high-res.

I have not been sitting completely still as I've started a sister forum for movie classics (my personal favorites, ok, but hey).
I have been uploading hundreds of images in the various forums and will upload hundreds more in the coming weeks. I hope you join me in this and start uploading those high-res / great / rare / beautifull images you have ;)

You can find anything from Blade Runner to Lord of the Rings to Battlestar Galactica there.

Please read the rules and requests on this new forum before you start posting, because I want to keep it nice and tidy
