Idea & Info: 'The Dark' (Cathy Lee Crosby) horror flick; could use a preservation

I remember this movie as a kid and it scared the crap outta me.  I’d love to see someone preserve this properly as I don’t believe a Bluray release is in it’s future anytime soon.

Well, seems this got no interest from anyone except me.  Anyways, I found and purchased a copy of the 2005 DVD release from eBay for under $20.  

I will finally be able to enjoy it again.

the dvd can also be found on usenet. but i suspect it to be downcompressed to a dvd5, using something like dvd2one, because the trailers feature no audio and have serious macro-blocking :(

Until it arrives, I don't know.  I will post more info when it shows up.
