All I saw were the first two. To hell with them both.
why?
- The “realism”.
- Nolan’s typical pretentiousness.
- Nolan’s typical convoluted storytelling.
Please elaborate.
If you have to ask, you’ll never know.
I find this Doctor Strange.

Had I more patience, if I cared enough about this discussion, perhaps I’d elaborate. But my supply of patience and caring are running low at the moment, and there’s no telling when I’ll go out to the store to buy some more.
alright then.
Would you recommend Justice League to somebody who hated Man of Steel, hated Batman v Superman , walked out from Suicide quad after 20 minutes and refused to watch Wonder Woman?
No, I’d recommend they go see Wonder Woman.
No, I’d recommend they go see Wonder Woman.
Is it REALLY good? My favourite youtube reviewers claimed it’s good, but the same people claimed that Suicide Squad was good, and I considered it to be one of the worst movies I have seen.
If you’re the type who tends to be one with the consensus, and the consensus says it’s good, then perhaps you should take their word for it.

I hated suicide squad, and never watched past man of steel which I disliked. But wonder woman is good (not the last third though) and justice league is enjoyable.

Good advice that…

I agree, watch WW first and then maybe go see JL, that’s your own choice of course. I didn’t even care to see SS so we’re almost in the same boat on what we have seen.

Both Wonder Woman and Justice league follow the formula (heroes fighting bad guys culminating in big boss fight at the end) so if you’re happy with that I’d say go see JL and you might have fun. But Wonder Woman is a better made film (and partially informs JL) so see that first!
Bearing in mind I’m a big fan of (nearly) all the films I’ll add that if you’re a casual viewer you really won’t be missing out on too much if you never see either one.

There’s your problem right there.

“Heroes come in all sizes, and you don’t have to be a giant hero. You can be a very small hero. It’s just as important to understand that accepting self-responsibility for the things you do, having good manners, caring about other people - these are heroic acts. Everybody has the choice of being a hero or not being a hero every day of their lives.” - George Lucas
I finally started watching The Flash tonight. If the first episode is any indication I think I’m going to really enjoy this show. I’m planning to get into Stargirl as well.

DC FanDome 2021
Today was DC FanDome. It’s similar to Star Wars: Celebration but for DC. There were loads of announcements for new projects. Pretty exciting!

I’m just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe.
Star Wars has 3 eras: The eras are 1977-1983(pre Expanded Universe), (1983-2014) expanded universe, or (2014- now) Disney-bought version. Each are valid.
My movie reviews aren’t AI, they’re just written by someone who’s Neurodivergent. If you don’t like them, then simply don’t read them.
Does anyone here own WW84? Is the image really supposed to be some kind of 80s throwback where you can see static flashes dozens of times and weird light lines going through the image like you’re watching some CRT/VCR thing? I have 2 copies and they both have the same issues. I didn’t find any review that says this is supposed to happen. I also did not see the movie in the theatre so I don’t know what it supposed to look.

Did you check your tv settings/player settings?

Loved the trailer for The Batman, and the Flash movie looks like a lot of fun.
Wish they’d bring back Mark Hamill as the voice as animated Joker in some capacity. But i understand if they choose to do something completely different with JJ Abrams new animated Batman series.
