Do you have any disk arts done yet?

Upload those now so I can prep my disk cases for the cowclops 2.0 downloads.

i have to say TR47 and Cowclops and Rowman, this is one HELL of a set,very nice,now all i need is the covers and disc art so i can display on the shelf with the rest of the nice Star Wars dvd's i have.

Would it not be better to post to Usenet before seeding the torrents? That way, those with access to Usenet can download the set fast and then also help to seed the torrents. You could even put a request in your post for people to do so.

hi guys how do you download from a.b.starwars?i see this alot but have no idea how toDL from here,is there another thread here explaining how to set up and do this?or can someone give some pointers.

I would post to a.b.starwars first but i told rikter that I would help seed this at myspleen. so if he gives me the ok to post at a.b.starwars first i will do that. As long as people do what they say and help seed also.
I will not be home until sat afternoon evening but I will start to post as soon as I can. As long as Rikter is ok with that, and of course if my discs came in the mail today or tomorrow.

I've not yet finished the covers or the NFO's that's why I had planned for an upload on Monday (the covers are mock-ups with no backs ) - We have at least 8 seeds lined up so getting seeds on the torrents is really not an issue now and once SEGAFLIP ups them on the alt.hoobies.things group it will only take about 1 days to have a TON of seeders there also -

There's a decent guide to Usenet here: http://www.slyck.com/ng.php

One thing I'd point out is that the majority of ISPs don't run a Usenet server that is usable for binary groups (like alt.binaries.starwars), so you'll probably have to pay a subscription for access to one (I use and recommend EasyNews).

I have also used and liked easynews, but now I have switched to giganews, which I love. But this is off topic.
I will let everyone know when I am ready to post at a.b.starwars.
I plan on raring up the folders, 50mb rars, and also post nfo, sfv, and 15-20% par2s.
(Hoping that my set came yesterday in the mail, or today, currently I am out off town)

Use your favorite "SFV" program of choice to check the checksums
[or you could even use your ZIP or RAR program, in a pinch, since they also use a CRC-32 checksum algorithm]

Do they match ??

However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

I have a copy I got from Rikter to help seed on Monday. I can confirm that the checksums posted match.

once these are up on myspleen and I download them, I can seed until the 18th when I go back to school... doin my part to show thanks to this awesome community any way I can. Don't have an LD player, my VHS copies are nearly worn out, but thanks to you guys I can enjoy the ORIGINAL trilogy forver.
