Hi, I have V.2 already and I really want to try V.1 as well... is it still available somewhere?
If not, could some members seed the dead torrent on MySpleen?
Thanks!

I have witnessed the double black bar effect with my v2.0 DVDs (like everyone). However, I popped my DVDs into my PS2 to watch and there doesn't seem to be a double black bar effect. What's worse is the screen seems to be stretched ever-so-slightly vertically to make up for the loss of one set of black bars. Has anyone else experienced this on their PS2? Any ideas on how to restore the correct aspect ratio? I haven't had any luck changing the setting on the PS2 between 4:3, Full Screen, and 16:9. Could it possibly be my TV? Thanks.

Cowclops v.2 is a great transfer, but I'm having probs with the audio. When I play the disc, I do not hear the main track. I hear the commentary track, and I cannot switch it, in the menu or otherwise. The menu acts like I switched, but I still hear commentary track. There wasn't a audio ts in the spleen folder, but I assumed it must have not needed it. What am I doing wrong here?

Well, when I burned the discs, I made my own "AUDIO_TS" folder and just put it in with the video one (it was empty of course). Maybe you could try doing that?

And does it actually not let you select another audio track even from your player's menu? Odd...

Gentlemen, you can’t fight in here, this is the war room!

Thanks, I'll try that. Have never had this prob with audio before. And no, it won't switch from the menu.

I have that audio problem too, but my DVD player allows me to switch tracks during playback. Thought is was my player, since I hadn't heard anyone about it.

That's no moon. It's a LaserDisc.

This might be the wrong answer to your problem, but I had the same experince when I played the discs in an Apex DVD player (crap!) on a RCA projection TV. The main menu music played, but when I started the movie there was no sound. I went into the audion options and selected the pcm audio. Problem solved. I hope your problem is as easily fixed as mine was.

Now...can anyone help me with the PS2 problem I posted a page back?

Hmm... regular audio is the default sound, but nonetheless you can always change it by hitting the "audio" button on your remote until track 1 (rather than track 2) is selected.

If your PS2 is stretching it vertically, what its really doing is NOT compressing it vertically. If your TV is 4:3 and your PS2 is set to 16:9, its set wrong. You want it set to 4:3, doesn't matter whether its letterbox or pan & scan since all that does is decide which version to default to if a dvd has both letterbox and pan & scan versions. Since no DVDs will bother cramming two videos on one disc these days, doesn't matter what its set to.

When I play the disc, it makes no sound. When I push the audio button, my player says no. When I try to switch it in the menu, it acts like it's switched, but then no audio. I'm gonna go try it on some other DVD players (I've been trying it on my Phillips DVDR 615) and see what happens.

I've got a Philips DVDR 70, and switchting audio tracks works perfectly on that one. Weird.

That's no moon. It's a LaserDisc.

Thanks.. I was wondering if you had received it, as your email address was not working properly.

It was a joke. Sorry. Still bitter I never got it. I guess the mailman's a fan too.

ROTFLMAO!

Sorry about your predicament, but that line was great.

Hi all. I'm trying to get CowClops V2 Ep4-6 before Christmas to give as a gift (a girl I know whom I recently showed the O-OT for the first time and she is wanting to see them again badly), but there are not many seeders (at least not last night, I'm at work now). Can whoeever has these please seed them so I may get them done b4 Christmas? Thanks a lot to everyone.

Please we need more seeders desperately now.

Tomland, I advise you to turn on Private Messages in your profile, even if you'd rather receive email.

For the last time: V1 DOES NOT HAVE ANY FOOTAGE MISSING. There's just a blank space. Besides, why do you want the old version?
Author
Time
I think he wants the letterbox, rather than anamorphic version.

I was referring to the blank space, and then I also thought I read about there being Leia welding or Threepio line or something restored?
Could definitely have been mistake on my part or something someone else said, but either way I didn't want to spread innacurate information...I'm sorry about that.

And THX was right about my wanting earlier version due to widescreen vs. anamorphic for my old set.

"For the last time: V1 DOES NOT HAVE ANY FOOTAGE MISSING. There's just a blank space."

NO, No, no. Your pitch is all wrong. You need to sell it like one of the special features of Monty Python's Holy Grail DVD: "A glorious extra 24 seconds absolutely free!"
