It's almost like you're hoping to expose some underlying bigotry. My beliefs do not support homosexual acts, am I supposed to throw away my beliefs to become politically correct? To tolerate doesn't mean to support. Why don't people understand the difference?

I consider myself at least 95% heterosexual, leaving most if not all of my remaining 5% as homosexual.

This probably doesn't count, though.

I also think it has to do with the waiting period for Episode VII. It happens in threads following the production of superhero films on SHH. When there's nothing left to talk about, people grow restless and start going for throats.

 well, you've yet again proven what an immature jerk you can be. 

A lot of people say they "tolerate" homosexuality, but refuse to "accept" it. How do you tolerate something without accepting it?

Then you have those who say "I like you, but don't agree with your sexuality/lifestyle". What does disagreement imply when you're on good terms with the person? Only saying "I think what you are doing is a sin"? That seems rather weak to me.

Perhaps "accept" should be swapped for "embrace"?

Well, I have no problem with liking a person, but not what they do. It doesn't make sense to a lot of people, but since I am capable of doing it, I believe it is possible.
