Mate, I know how it feels. These things really do take a lot of effort, dedication and sacrifice. I have reached several difficult patches with 'Returning to Jedi' lately that I was sure would be the end. However, given so much input from elsewhere and some deep routed determination (that I didn't know I had!), I am willing to get this thing done. Plus I have so much material to work with.

Sorry that we won't see your project in a finished form, but congrats on getting this far!

The clip was great. I think that one section was actually better than anything that was in the Sith Revealed. It's a shame you won't be completing it.

Good work all the same.

Hi guys,

ZigFried's constant on and off with his Paint Wars (not that I was that fussy on it) has prompted me to pull my finger out of my backside and I hereby announce that 'The Clones Revealed - A Work In Progess' is now available on Demonoid.

The reason I have done ths is because I really want to see this one through, and am hoping that many of you will take the time to download it and offer your critiques so I can make this thing as good as it can be. I really do believe it's salvageable, and there are some stunning moments in there.

But please be patient. The file is a 3.89 gig MPEG, playable in most DVD playing programs, but obviously there will be only one seeder to begin with.

Also a shout out to Sluggo, Jambe and Russs15...are you guys still interested in seeing this? If so, PM me your addy's and I'll pop copies in the post

Yay! I'm so happy this is torrented! I never got the chance to see the Sith Revealed (it was never torrented to my knowledge), so now I'll have more DM-style goodness to watch (I'm greatly looking forward to RtJ as wel, JD).

Clones is my 6th most favourite Star Wars film and even the many edits and extended versions out there struggle to improve the film in my humble opinion. In the past I have watched the film willing the film to end!!

Today I received the 40 minute Clones Revealed workprint which is approximately half the film only. This "take" of the film I did not want to finish. When it dawned on me that this was not a 40 minute long edit of the entire film - only half of it, I actually became rather annoyed.

To see how the film was made, bluescreens, stand in actors and artwork etc is 10 times more enjoyable to see - TRUST ME!!

As Daveytod has said from Day One, the BTS source material is scarce but what there is has been expertly added in synch to the rest of the film. A few times, I had to rewind to check where the scene changed from the film to BTS. Very well done.

Because of the lack of video material, something else had to be used. Still photographs, sketches, scans and single picture frames from the comic book were used at some of the crucial lines which work very well.

The highlight for me was the speeder chase scene which has to be seen to be believed!! How many individual cuts did you put in there?? Fantastic.

To finish, I now demand that I get to see the last half of this project and that this becomes a finished release.

Also, The Phantom Revealed has to follow along with the re-done Sith Revealed we discussed many moons ago.

Keep up the good work.............

I'm a bit confused...the file i sent should have been the whole thing, clocking in at around 2 1/2 hours, not 40 minutes....where did it end russ?

*edit* 2 important questions for people who have watched it - what in the film did you feel didn't work so well? and, do you think it would be improved by adding subtitles to explain all the different material?

Sorted. I have "weirdness" at my end!!

The DIVX player on my TV only recognises 40ish minutes and not the full thing. No idea why!!!!

The PC sees the full thing?? I will be rigging up the PC to the TV over the weekend to watch the rest............ I can't wait.

just a quick note to say, if there's anyone downloading this thinking it's the finished product then please stop! You'll only be dissapointed. Whilst the final version may not differ much, there WILL be differences, especially as I'm hoping to get a brand new crawl for this. I'm gonna pull the torrent in a couple of days regardless, and the repost the final version once completed

I know you've already said you are going to continue with this, but let me throw my support in to further solidify your decision: This project is great. There is a lot of stuff in this I have never seen or even heard of (like the Ki-Adi Mundi secondary plot during the big droid battle near the end). I am a "Behind the Scenes Junkie"; I love this kind of stuff. Good work, and I anxiously await anything else you may have for us.
