I don’t know why Mega gets recommended. It took me multiple tries until Coaxium Heist was downloaded succesfully and it took ages.
Sure thing, fire me a PM.
Google Drive isn’t sustainable for long-term storage, so I’ve just finally finished shifting everything to Mega, which fanedit.org recommends.
However, now I’ve got another problem - there’s a download (‘transfer’) limit.
Does anyone know of a decent solution here? I don’t want people to have to download these really slowly over a couple of weeks. But I can’t afford to pay for more than the basic hosting solution (Pro Lite) - it’s already costing me a lot to use Mega versus Google Drive.

Yeah, if I were you I’d transfer your stuff back to Google Drive. 😉 It’s inconvenient for the host, but far more user-friendly than Mega.
My preferred Skywalker Saga experience:

I have to agree, watching and downloading edits on MEGA can be a chore, but it is your edit.
Problem with Google Drive was that I had to use multiple accounts, and eventually Google started wanting me to have a unique phone number per account. I guess I could pay for one large Google Drive, but that’s even more cash. Cheapest would be splitting it across three low-cost Google Drives, but then I might hit the same issues.
TCW:R is 166GB (and growing), and my total fanedits are 250GB.
Cloud storage has become increasingly frustrating to do cheaply. I’m looking at pCloud lifetime plans as a value option for my personal stuff, but it’s a significant up-front cost, although I’d easily make it back in a few years compared to a similar capacity as a monthly subscription. It does comes with transfer limits (albeit upgradeable, for a price), and while MEGA is undoubtedly cheapest for large volumes of Cloud storage as a service, it comes with the same caveats.
I’ve been using TeraBox for my edit, it’s full of ads and isn’t too user friendly but it’s a free terabyte of cloud storage.
That being said, I do get a lot of DMs about people who want the edit being confused. And I try provide a more known alternative for those sceptical of or unable to use TeraBox.
The limits on mega can be avoided if you use an internet downloader rather then Megas download software itself or in built browser downloaders.
I use Mega and I like it a lot, much better than Google Drive and everything else I’ve tried. The amount of space you get versus what it costs is the best I’ve found (for the amount that I need).

You can also get around the download limit by using a VPN, this is what I did before buying a subscription. I have a couple of very large edits and have been asked by people if I could upload to GD so they can download and I tell them about the vpn workaround, and it has worked for them.
Thanks to g00b and explay, we now have subtitles for season one! Thanks both for your help.
If anyone would like to check them out, they’re now in the spreadsheet (you can find links to them by episode or by season just above). We’d love any feedback.
g00b has just shared with me some absolutely gorgeous posters, for every single season and episode, all lovely and consistent, for use in Plex. Aren’t they gorgeous?!
I’ve uploaded them to the mega folder, your existing links should all work.
They’re all done in the style of RedHeadJedi’s custom Star Wars poster collection which ForLightAndLIfe continued. So if you want all of Star Wars in matching posters check out their work!

…
Sorry to bother you but I have a link to the tracker from a while back, it seems recent as it has mega links and subtitle links but how can I find this beautiful Plex artwork please? Thank you both Eddie and Goob!
Ah yep good shout - I’ve added a button at the very top right of the spreadsheet.
Excellent, I see it, thank you.
Goob/Eddie, would you mind sharing an episode poster for S03E03 Pirates of the Outer Rim? The file provided is actually for S03E02b. It’s the only one missing, though many of the episode poster numberings did differ from my saved video files, it was nothing some renaming couldn’t take care of. Thanks!
EDIT: Thanks for adding it!

I’ll make sure Eddie has the files! The numbers are off as it’s how I’ve ordered the edit in Plex 😂
Miles00x, that’s all sorted now. Thanks g00b.
Just finished watching your version of the show and I can say it was so good. The video and audio quality are excellent, and I did not notice any awkward cuts. I would like to thank you so much for your hard work. I cannot even imagine how much time and effort it took. You should be proud of your work. You have transformed a mediocre show into something truly special.
Thanks so much! ❤️
would love to get the link to the different artstyles!

I haven’t ever attempted to share the amount of data associated with a fanedit with multiple people, but I use Microsoft OneDrive. Because I already use Microsoft Office on the daily, the Microsoft 365 Family Plan subscription made the most sense. Not sure what your budget is (if any), but it’s $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year. It includes 1TB of Microsoft OneDrive storage per email address on the family plan. I believe the limit is 6 email addresses per family plan so you could potentially have 6tb of storage. It seems to be more cost effective than what Google charges for the same amount of storage plus you get Microsoft Office included as a bonus if you need it. I haven’t looked into any download bandwidth limits though which might be why other editors don’t use it, but it might be worth looking into if it’s in your budget.
May I have a lookie?

Hello there EddieDean. Do you mind sharing the links to check this cool project?
