I say donut as well, even though doughnut is a perfectly legitimate spelling I don't understand why you would use it.

No, but it's shaped like a nut, the kind that threads around a bolt.

Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

I think it's more like a "nut" made of "Dough"...

Which is why doughnut is a more correct spelling.... But who gives a crap, donut is easier to type.

My favorite is from the FLCL soundtrack, the english part of the lyrics goes like: "with the kids sing out the future / maybe kids don't need their masters", I mean, just wtf is that supposed to mean? And of course, I could mention a whole lot of other bizarre examples.

I noticed that in the ending Japanese theme for Dragon Ball (Dan Dan Whatever) that it suddenly says "HOLD YOUR HAND" in English for no apparent reason. Isn't there a way to say that in Japanese? BTW, is there anyway to see this "FLCL" that doesn't involve thirty dollar DVDs or the words "bit" and "Torrent" together in any fashion?

Ask someone you know who owns them to rip and burn them for you.

The only person I know that's really into anime is pretty much strictly obsessed with Sailor Moon and Inuyasha.

Outside of BitTorrent, actually buying them, or having someone giving you a copy, I think you're out of luck until they run the series on AS again.

Adult Swim? What did Furi Kuri do to deserve that?

Why not Toonami or Miguzi? I'm normal using the computer or killing [insert evil polygonal being name here] during adult swim.

Some of it probably isn't suitable for after-school viewing (instances of bitch, damn, and shit come to mind along with teenage erotic scenes)

...I don't even want to know what "teenage erotic scenes" means...

Still, it could be censcored for daytime like YuYuHakusho was.

Blast it! Crap!... that sort of thing.
Besides. Those words are used on daytime TV anyway.

But only CN would get sued for it.

Just out of curiosity, when does Adult Swim begin on Cartoon Network? Reason I'm asking is that after 9pm in Canada, pretty much anything goes; they even showed T2 complete and uncut once.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

Adult Swim starts at 11PM Eastern with Family Guy and Futurama. I think that the Anime block starts at Midnight with Full Metal Alchemist, but I could be wrong about that one.

BLASPHEMY!! That's like... putting an underware on Michelangelo's Davi!
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

As noble an effort as that is, I somehow don't see it helping the issue.

Did you hear they're bringing Naruto to CN? From what I've heard, they are going to completely screw that show up with all of the censoring.
