I've really been enjoying the stereo set. As a serious Beatles fan and collector I've only been listening to the mono mixes of "Help!", "Rubber Soul", "Revolver", "S.P.L.H.C.B.", "Magical Mystery Tour"  and "The Beatles" for at least the last 12 years.

The crisp fresh sound of the stereo "Please Please Me" album just blew me away. I know that most people feel that is the most dated, sappy, and corny of the albums, but it has always been one of my personal favorites.

As for the price of these sets, I'm disgusted.  I do think they are inflating the price of these recordings a bit much for what you get.  I could see a Re-mixed set being at this asking price, but not for just remasters and a bunch of cardboard that scratches disks when you take them out and put them away.  The Capitol Years sets had a much better value by including stereo and mono mixes on the same disks.  The only problem I have with that two versions on one disk format, is when you want to play multiple albums in chronological order on a multiple disk CD player.  You have to ether listen to each album twice, or program the player. What a pain...

Picked up Revolver, just for fun. I'm not much of an audiophile, but I enjoy this release. This one's for the car - I'll stick to my blue-box records in the stereo, thanks. Individually, these albums aren't priced so bad - I could by the old non-remastered ones at a higher price at Border's than the remastered at Best Buy. Just wish the mono mixes didn't only come in a set...
