UPDATES:

All the audio tracks are ready (even the commentary) EXCEPT the LD AC3... the second side capture has a glitch, so right now I'm capturing it again; hope to put it in sync in the next hour - IF virtualdub will decide to not lose sync or drop frames, of course... (><_) the German audio track doesn't exist in 5.1 AFAIK (until it's there in an HDTV broadcast, but I'm pretty sure it isn't...) so it will be a 2.0 track.

Subtitles: English, French and Spanish are in sync; I'm working to obtain the German ones (thanks to a friend in this very thread!); the Italian ones simply don't exist, even in the DVD! So, I'm forced to do it by myself, and it will take some time - not too much, indeed, but I have to listen to a dialog line, pause, write, play and so on... (´ `.)

UPDATES:

LD AC3 captured and put in sync! Now I need only Italian subs (that I'm forced to do by myself) and German subs (that I'm awaiting).

Meanwhile, video is encoding - it will be ready in "only" three days... (••_)

Going to sleep, too tired to write further informationzzz...

Great! Now I have to finish to transcribe the Italian subs, put them in sync with video (XX/) and it's (almost) done... I should do the BD menus, and BD covers, though!

It's very hard and time consuming to transcribe dialogs to make subtitles... play, pause, write, go back, replay, pause, correct, fix the sync... wow... but it helped me to discover one thing: Zane Zaminsky should be an alien himself! Why? Because, when he was talking to Ilana, about the professor's seminar, he had a flashback of a speech part when he was out of the building since several second, forced to go away by a pair of guards... or, he's a superhero, or... simply, is an editing error! (^^,)

By the way, I'm around 25%, my hand is aching, so probably I'll stop soon and continue tomorrow...

About cover: I'm studing a completely different look for it, as I like to have something more original than the usual DVD and/or BD cover - or similar, like the posters... I'm pretty sure final result will be interesting!

video encoding is finished; now I need to finish the italian subs, then do the BD menus and covers...

Little update: I'm still working on the IT subs, now I'm around 30% - harder than what I remember (I've done the same for The Lost World: Jurassic Park project)... it's really time consuming, and the fact I'm forced to use a small LCD doesn't help... but I'll try to finish it ASAP, because I feel the urgency to release this project!

Sadly, the money (plus more) that was reserved to buy it was spent for another compulsory thing... (xx/)

But it's on the "buy it ASAP" list... about fanres, just done! I deleted any reference to extra material, just because it will be released as bonus disc, in a second time... thegroovologist don't worry, extras WILL be released for sure! (^^,)

Yup! Just Forgot to mention it on fanres, but it was planned!!! Going to fix the description right now, thanks!

...still without... (xx/) but I hope to get one soon...

I decided to NOT spend a large amount of money on a new HDTV, because I'd like to wait for a final UHD standard - to be 100% compatible with the new UHD Blu-ray - rec.2020, 10bit etc.

So, I managed to buy a used "simple" 1080p LED TV from a friend - barely used, seems still brand new... hope to get it soon!

Strangely... I've never seen this film!

So, you MUST wait for the project completion! (^^,)
