For video I am using Kdenlive on Linux - it works surprisingly well for video, interface is simple and intuitive, but the audio editing sucks, so I am using Cool Edit Pro (Windows). For image editing I use GIMP. That's it.
Sounds cool. It would be the first Kdenlive-edited fan edit I've ever encountered.

I will try to do something similar in my edit: delete the pointing hand in Vader's closeup, slow down his movements, etc...

It's weird that it got blocked though. It's a short video from STAR WARS that Mr.J adjusted himself. I post videos like that all the time and they almost never get blocked.

You can also try vimeo if youtube is causing trouble.
Vimeo is the best site to me. A bit slower with the upload, but still far greater quality overall.
Vimeo doesn't allow for anything you didn't make yourself, though. Can you even do the private video thing?
I've seen plenty of people load their work to vimeo on FE.org.

I know people are always looking for ways to put Coruscant in the OT (or at least I am), so I was thinking, remember the planet the Death Star orbits in ANHR? What if it was Coruscant?

Could be interesting. Would like to see it.
Yeah it sounds like a good idea, but when our heroes discover the Death Star at the remains of Alderaan, Han especially can't believe what he's seeing, if it had been stationed at the Empire home planet, the nerve centre of the galaxy every star system would know. The ultimate weapon may end up guarding Coruscant, but I think at this early stage it would still be hidden,....dunno

I knew this thought would come up. Who says its been stationed at Coruscant for long? Considering at the start of ANH the Imperials are starting to reveal the DS to the galaxy, wouldn't it make sense to unveil above Coruscant? Maybe there was some sort of launch party of some sort. It sounds silly, but it seems a possibility. The real question is how long would it take people on Tatooine, the outer rim of the galaxy to find out about the DS. A week? I think Coruscant works.
I don't really care for any part of the prequels to be integrated into the original trilogy.....maybe thats why I'm being negative.
This just sounds like the sort of modification the modern Lucas would introduce
