I appreciate that Angel.

My only gripe (which is more me shaking a fist at the passage of history than directed at any individual or individuals) is having all these comments grayed out and images and videos no longer available in the context of the flow of discussion does weaken these idea threads as a potential resource.

I remember back in my lurking days reading a thread from beginning to end and often enjoying the tennis match of comments (especially on the Starkiller Ranch thread which these brainstorming threads owe a debt to).

Infodroid is another postee whose intellectual contribution I miss and hope is doing well in the real world.

You are probably right Ady (Alec's wig...made me laugh!),.....yeah likely was someone there trying to put some life into Artoo.

I'll stabilise Artoo & see how that looks.

Thanks Angel for posting Darth Venal's pics......they do look perfect....Ben's hut just looks more authentic....in keeping with the rest of the movie.

i have some of SSWRs videos, but would love to recover them all. does anyone have any?

While looking at stabilising R2, I tried to make the ground look a bit less SE and blend in with surrounding shots.....still haven't fixed R2 though.

I have stabilised R2 at the beginning of clip & fixed a couple of glitches in the previous clip

Looks awesome. Funny thing is, I don't think I minded the new textured ground from the SE before. But now after seing your version, which I think is the OT version, I must say I like it better this way.

Because the ground is more simple and smooth the eye is drawn to where the focus should be, on the ship and the characters heading into the spaceport.

I made this edit of Obi-Wan telling Luke "I wanted you to have this" instead of "your father wanted you to have this" and was wondering if you could pop it over that clip to see how it works?

The timing hasn't' been changed so it should be okay. Plus, miraculously Obi-Wan is turned around at that exact moment so this should fit.

Hey Ady, no unfortunately I don't have it in higher quality only because I just pulled it from a youtube clip to make it really fast.

However I could make it again if you or anyone can send me a link to a wav or good quality mp3 from that portion of the film.

wow, fits perfectly!

It ties up the PT plothole but personally I would prefer to solve that in the PT by having Anakin leave his saber with Padme for the child (after using it on Mace) and Vader using a red blade given to him by the Emperor.

I tried to make my own edit of your audio DF Shadow, but couldn't get it to sound right.....so I used the audio from film to where R2 beeps then cut to your "I wanted you to have this when you were old enough" then cut back to video soundtrack.

You did a grand job DF
