Making Tarkin look more CG seems kind of silly to me (the make-the-OT-more-PT syndrome) but different strokes for different folks.

Excellent work. The only suggestion I have in this case is to fix it so that Vader doesn't gesture with his hand after the dialogue is through. (like AdY did)
I LOVE the idea of turning that general delivering the news into a hologram as well.....so simple yet brilliant. It modernizes the OT a bit, adds a cool unobtrusive element and even maintains the original actor.

I have high hopes making vader a bit more like ESB one. Meaning cutting all the nervous/fast moves he is making and hoping for a total redubing make him deep and calm as he is ESB no more yells and awkward behavior.Thats more like it

^^ Cool - that is something else that could be very interesting to hear. A slightly deeper Vader voice and maybe just slowed down a little bit.

Although i agree that the shot looks great - I think Tarkin looks a little bit too pale in this.
Also, the meeting room chairs looks well wicked.

No, I'm just kidding, if you want to do an edit like that, do it. I don't think it'll improve the movie (I believe contrary) but I'd still watch it out of curiosity and I'm sure there will be a lot of people who will really like it :-)

Not true - the way you changed my quote made it appear that I am in favor of changing to OT to make it more like the PT, which is the opposite of what I was saying.

A brand new 3po like he was shot yesterday :D
All the BG of tattoine dunes will be replaced with more dramatic ones. Plus the stormy sky in the originals didnt create good values on the sand.
I the last shot im worrying about the position of ben and Luke.
After the cropping (erasing the droids) i was considered extend the shot to the right so the heroes have "space" to look at. Better composition. :)
