It would be a very different looking film, almost monochrome in places but in an interesting artistic fashion rather than a blanket tinted one.

I have a thing for scanning lasers, they are very evocative of the seventies (they even featured prominently in Alien) they fit well in a film made in 1977 at the height of disco so maybe that would be a way around the electro needle thing, think of the probe mechanism used by the salvage team in the beginning of Aliens it has a similar motion to it :

Scanning lasers can be hired (it costs some money but doesn't everything?) there may be a local nightclub that has one which could be filmed (it also looks like the sort of thing a clever programmer might be able to write an adobe plug-in for).

It looks like the sort of thing an animator might be able to emulate (SSWR did something like that in his droid factory mockup for AOTC)

I like the new window and the view but I also like the dark control room (even though it was more a necessity of the projections they were using it was very spooky).

I liked that clip alot more than the original one.  I especially liked when Anakin used the force to save Padme.  Very well done, now we just need to give this place a much needed visual update.

Well done, Sir. I'm especially loving the stark imperial grey colour schemes.

So when are we going to see Star Wars: Revisited....Revisited? [per se]

The mockups are always bittersweet - they look great but leave me more dissatisfied with what we already have. Maybe that's just be but I'd love to see a lot of these concepts realised, irregardless [;)] of what purists, or casual fans might think is going too far.

Anyways, even wondered how ANH should look if Death star had lighter gray walls? The reasons why they are so black are obvious :)

Weird, Tarkin almost looks CGI in the second second.

I hate to be a one trick pony but putting back some of the colour of the original makes the added detail dividend of Angel's work fit more within the films as we know them.

Making different versions of the films with a different aesthetic which matches Angel's ultra-crisp approach is also something I'd like to see.

I like this early graphical display style used in an unused scene :

Maybe white with a bit of colour would be the way to go.

It would be nice to revamp those images a little though we must guard against going too far :

there arnt any holograms in ANH. would be cool to put some to de-retro ANH  a bit?

That Death Star is complete and almost everyone is convinced that attacking it would be almost impossible.

Other than the superweapon it's also seems to be designed as a mobile replacement for the Senate (or at least a prototype for regional versions) so I imagine anyone who needs to be there is there and most of them will feel safe there too.

The point where a hologram would make sense as I mentioned back in post one is when Tarkin receives news about Dantooine.

He would want that ASAP and that ball in the middle of the table must do something other than serve fondue.
