Does anyone have links to the Rush Preservations?  I haven't been able to find them on usenet or torrent sites and the rapidshare links are dead.

Thanks!

A long time ago via PIF I received a copy of "Love Actually Bloated and Flatulent..." on DVD9.  The burn was bad and I was never able to get any standalone device or optical drive to read it completely.

Every new optical drive I've bought over the years, I always use it as a sort of stress test for reading bad discs just to see how much it can actually get through before giving up.

Testing my nifty new Pioneer BDR drive today and... it reads 100%!!

So I offer to revive this long missing ADM edit.  Is there interest in the DVD9 version?  I also have the official DVD5 shrunk version as well.

Chime in, PM me, whatever and I'll see about sharing.

It goes without saying that a new BD version would be even better.

The Terminator Extended Edition
All of the deleted scenes re-integrated into the film:
* Sarah's "I'm so wholesome I could puke" conversation in front of the mirror before starting work
* T-800 leaving the scene of the first termination
* Several bits with Traxler and Vulkovitch in pursuit
* Bit where Traxler is considering that Reese may be telling the truth
* Traxler's admonition to Reese to protect Sarah before dying
* Sarah deciding to destroy Cyberdyne & Reese's breakdown (long, excellent scene)
* Sarah planning on all the great things Kyle will see and do after they change the future
* A little post-coital intimacy between Sarah & Kyle
* The chip being discovered ... at Cyberdyne

Two language options are presented, based on the original mono and the 5.1 remix.

T2: ADigitalMan's Fourth Option Special Edition
Very little to this edit, actually. It adds the scene of the T-1000 searching John's room into the Special Edition. This scene was included in the Special Extended Edition on the official disc, but you also had to watch the alternate ending to see it. Now you don't.

Dune: The Reconstructed Workprint Edition
This edit attempts to reconstruct David Lynch's workprint better than the official EE. It removes most (if not all) of the offensive elements that led Lynch to remove his name from the EE. Erroneous FX shots are eliminated, and as much of the Theatrical Edition as possible is used for the sake of better sound and score. It also restores most of the deleted scenes that were not present in the EE but finally showed up as a supplement on the DVD. These are noticibly lower in quality, hence why I call this a "workprint" edition. They nonetheless add to the detailed, if convoluted plot that Sci-Fi fans know and love. At any rate, while some of the footage is sub-par in video quality, you don't find yourself taken out of the moment when wrong ship flys over the wrong planet in the middle of a scene.

I attempted to correct the missing Fremen eye colorations, but quickly realized I was in over my head, so only two shots have been fixed (those alone took a couple of hours rotoscoping by hand). Good luck spotting them! If anybody wishes to improve this fan edit by fixing all of these eye shots, please do.

I left David Lynch's name in the credits, hoping this would not seem arrogant, but instead a genuine tribute by a fan, in hopes that this more closely matches the Extended Edition he would have created, if he'd only been given the chance back when he cared about the film. Mr. Lynch, if you're reading, we do love your film, and will continue to wish for your true extended cut to see the light of day.

where can i find this editions?

I rarely watch ADM's Love Actually, not because I don't like it, but because I need subtitles for that foreign language (British).

This month I started working on a set of subs, but then I came across this:

* John and Judy's grossly out-of-place arrival at the play is removed.

Anyone else notice this before?  It's kind of odd to find an extended edit with a theatrical scene removed.

Edit: Ugh.  Tried to cut this scene back in but the streams are a mess.  Anyone planning on redoing this on BD?  I can provide subtitles that should work.

Edit 2: Well, forget it.  If I recut it, it'll be in HD.  In the mean time I have English subtitles for ADM's release (in .ASS format to preserve the layout).

I was going to post it along with the DVD9 version, but after 2-3 days I've still not heard back from the admin at MySpleen to find out if they consider it safe.

If anyone wants the subtitle file, PM me.

Hi, to all the people who've heard ADM's Aladdin, what do you think of the 2 mixes presented?

Also, do people sell single reels of films? Supposedly, Aladdin was released in 5.1 and the missing audio should be on the 1st reel of film. Maybe not, I forgot about the 2nd edit.

I’m still holding out hope that somebody somewhere has these (especially Superman II).

Help me Original Trilogy. You’re my only hope.

I have the Harry Potter blu-rays, and my version of Philosopher’s Stone (perhaps imported from Canada) just uses clever camera angles every time someone mentions “Philosopher’s Stone”. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s (Philosopher’s) Stone where they actually show them saying that phrase on screen.
Explanation: The BluRay version always cuts to a reaction shot from another character, or there’s a door in the way, etc. I thought that Mr Columbus used clever camera angles from the start.

They say it visibly on screen several times in the US Sorcerer’s Stone version. I figured they just shot all those scenes twice for the various versions.

I personally hate “Sorcerer’s Stone” because 1. It’s just plain stupid because the Philosopher’s Stone is a pre-existing bit of folklore. and 2. It’s insulting because it was only put in place because publishers thought American kids were too stupid to know what a philosopher was.
But I’ve never gotten a hold of an NTSC version of Philosopher’s Stone. I did a sort of shady download of an mkv rip once (I own the US version on bluray, dvd, and vhs so bite me. They have my money) but never actually ended up watching it all the way through before my harddrive I had it on bit the dust. I wish they would sell a bluray with both versions on it, so people could take their pick, rather than be limited by where they live.

Anyone know where I can find all the Harry Potter extended editions, it seems like all the links online are dead at this point, I’ve spent about 4 hours looking and haven’t had much luck.

Superman II: The Hybrid Cut & Superman Redeemed

I was hoping to get a copy of edits Superman II: The Hybrid Cut & Superman Redeemed. As I’ve seen in posts, the latest versions listed are both on Version 2? I was also wondering what’s the best picture quality available?

Hope to hear back soon!

Hey Gang!

I’m currently attempting to transfer my ADM DVD’s to hard disks and uploading any of them that are not currently seeded on the organ place. I’m uploading non hosted versions and DVD9 versions of the hosted DVD5’s but it looks like I lost a few that were in printed keepcases in the 2005 robbery.

So far these have been uploaded.

  • Blade Runner - The ADigitalMan Alternate Cut - ADM Edit - [DVD5 ISO 4.07GB]
  • Pearl Harbor - ADigitalMan’s “Strength And Honor” Edit [DVD9 ISO 5.28GB]
  • ADigitalMan’s “No, it really is Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein” - ADM Edit - [DVD5 ISO 3.20GB]
  • Rush, The Preservation Edition Disc 3: A Show of Hands - ADM & Darth Enzo Edit - [DVD9 ISO 7.72GB]

ENJOY!
