Yep I'm doing the OT as well (both PAL & NTSC versions), at the moment I do have another 9 DVD's to author, but I'll fit in finishing them when I can so you'll be the first to know when they're done.

Actually... to help it along (if you had the time to help me out) perhaps you'd like to write the blurbs for the movies . You did edit them after all and I think that would be a great personal touch.

OK I've finished the Cover for Path To The Dark Side, and I'm pretty pleased with it. I'm struggling with Vergence though, because I can't find a high-enough resolution picture that's good enough for the back. I'll keep looking I guess, anyhoo, here's Path.

OK on your advice I've replaced the screenshot and done away with the barcode, I've also finally found a reverse picture. Thanks for the input ADM.

Boba Feta, thanks for putting that image in the background. I really think that old teaser poster captures the spirit of this edit better than it did the official release. I really did try hard to sharpen up Anakin's character to be worthy of wearing that helmet one day.

Ok, I probably am wrong on this, but can't the offending sound drop out be fixed by finding the .vob file it resides in, demuxing it, editing the audio and remuxing it back to a .vob file?
Then only one file would need to be re-torrented.
Would that break the DVD?

It would. I even tried something similar. A DVD needs to be muxed from a complete stream of video and audio (not getting into the issue of multiples). Subtitles too. It then breaks the giant file into 1GB chunks. After re-muxing, the split points didn't even match, as they were off by a frame, causing an aggravating jump in the middle of a shot elsewhere in the film if you just replaced the one VOB file with the original error. The change in the AC3 file caused that much difference. This is because AC3 is a compressed format, unlike WAV, so the file size is actually different because of a smidgeon of different audio, even though the time has not changed in the file.

Thus, unless DE knows a way to patch (I tried doing something like this using the technology for video game patching but it wasn't compatible with VOBs), the solution is to demux to elementary streams, replace the offending audio, and remux. And muxing alread-authored subtitle streams and menus is not just point-and-click.

The best solution is to get on the pyramid. That way somebody'll just mail you the fixed disc. For the few bucks you spend paying it foward, it becomes well worth the time.

If only Lucas took the same amount of pride in his product our green lightsabers and swapped music would have been fixed by him.

Just watched Episode 1 and 2 with my 6 year old daughter, and I got to say EXCELLENT job ADigitalMan. Trimmed done Jar Jar crap, Anikan not as whiney and his actions more deliberate. The deleted scenes added in. Great picture, sound and editing job. Look forward to the rest of your work.

Cheers Rik, that means a lot coming from you, because incidentally, yours were the first custom covers I used for the my first OT set (TR47 v.1).

Yeah no worries, covers will be made widely available, I'm just gonna finish making up labels as well so I can release them all as a package.

As boba feta has already said, the Ep III cover and labels are only temporary as ADM's edit doesn't even have a name yet.

Na as it happens ADM doesn't want me to circulate the Sith Cover & Label yet, just because of the fact it hasn't even been started and I must admit I think its a fair call.

Anyhoo, I'm just waiting on final approval from ADM, when I get that I'll make them available and post them off to Rikter and he'll handle the torrent distribution from there.
