I just burned Spoofs and Bonus Features.

So far, I've never had bad results with my burning process, but with this particular disc, it is a little sketchy. I am curious as to if there was some sort of burning error or just rough DVD architecture on this disc.

In particular, my problems relate to the disc's menu. When the disc first starts, sometimes it skips the menu and goes straight into Troops. Other times, it does hit the menu. Sometimes, when switching from the first to second menu, the second menu locks and gets pixellated. While playing a feature, hitting the menu button on my remote does not return to the main menu, but rather makes the scene loop the last few seconds before resuming.

Other than all that, this is a great disc and I got to see a bunch of things I'd not seen before. Thanks for making it, ADigitalMan!

Sounds like either a burning error or a faulty player.

I haven't seen this disc yet (nor have it), and I'm wondering what the source material for this DVD is. As far as I know, a lot of fanfilms are available online as highly-compressed files (mostly QuickTime), which is hardly ideal for a DVD transfer.

The Evan Mather stuff is sourced from the dinky Quicktime, so it's not beautiful -- but it's still funny. But most of that stuff comes from much more pristine sources.

Sorry to hear about the menu problems. It was my first-ever disc so it may not be perfect, but I don't know if I've noticed the kinds of problems you're suggesting.

Don't get me wrong - the disc is great and I would recommend it to anyone here. I just wanted to see if the issue was something on my end or something inherent in the disc (before I do a reburn). I'll reburn it, just in case. If that doesn't fix things, I am still perfectly happy with what I've got.

My re-burn fixed the locking up/direct play into Troops, but hitting the menu button still just takes a step backwards by a second - it's weird. Oh well, maybe it's just my burner.

The disc is great, though. Some really nice things on there that I'd wanted to see for ages but have never had the chance. Thanks for compiling it!

If somebody does this, please be sure to specify whether it comes from/goes with the original ADM edition or the DE/ADM Hybrid edition. There are differences in the cuts that will cause the wrong mix to fall out of sync.

Sure, I can torrent it, but my BitTorrent connection is often VERY slow (I think my college network throttles it somehow), so it would probably be much faster to send it via a different route. And I only have the Heresy Mix for the original ADM edit, not the hybrid (though I believe that's coming in the mail =D ).

Hello everyone. I am a new poster, having heard of the site from a friend yesterday.

I was watching the Episode 4 DVD with my son yesterday. I was shocked to see that the "green box" effects around tie fighters, etc. were left in, NOTICABLY, in many places. I ranted to my wife about it, and talked to a friend, who directed me here.

If someone could send me the DVDs of ADigitalMan's edits of all the movies, I would be eternally thankful. I'd pass them on using the pay it forward system, of course. If anyone can help me out, please let me know; I'd be glad to cover the cost of DVDs/shipping/etc.

Those boxes around the TIE's on the 2004 DVD are really only visible if the brightness on your monitor is turned up WAAAAAAAAAAAAY more than it should be.

Try turning the brighness down some, and they will disappear before your eyes.

Umm, those boxes are quite noticible even if you've calibrated to the THX setup specifications, which I've done.

I'm watching ADM's Clone Wars edit right now, and I saw that Padme is called "Senator" at one point, making that a continuity error with the rest of the ADM saga, in which Padme continues to be Queen of Naboo after Episode 1.
