Reading the list of changes you've made, I'm definitely pretty psyched for this set. It'll be good to get a copy.

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

You have a good list of changes and would like to see your vision of the saga one day, I am very intrigued most, by the edits to Attack of the Clones especially the removal of the Droid factory sequence and seeing how the Battle of Geonosis works with the Droids editted out.

Great, Dark_Jedi!

Would there be anyone willing to post this as a torrent at myspleen, should I send them a copy? My resources are very low, and a torrent would be vital to getting these distributed later.

Wow.. I've desperate to got hold of an edit of Ep. II without that awful head-swap nonsense. Is there anything I can do to facilitate its distribution, or should I just keep checking Myspleen (I'm based in the UK)?

Distribution plans are still sketchy, although I am hoping someone can make a torrent available on myspleen.
And I hope you will be pleased... AOTC is the one that needed the most work.

That's something I've always said. Ep 1 probably had the most "cringeworthy" stuff, but was at least rescue-able (as some successful fan-edits have shown). Ep II sags horribly in the middle, and the climactic scenes are ruined by bollocks slapstick, dreadful puns, and the worrying memory of rocket boosters on R2. Nice work that man. I'll keep checking back for further updates.

I hadn't considered changing the titles to the prequels, but if I did, here's what I would do:

Episode I: Cloak of Deception
Episode II: The Approaching Storm
Episode III: Labyrinth of Evil

Named after their respective novels. Still don't want to change the titles, just wondered if there was any opinions.

Those titles sound great! They have a sense of mystery to them.

my mistake - sorry

The revised title names (approaching storm) are nice but they dont mesh with the OT, unless you plan on changing that. The PT titles are great because they link nicely.

Just for the record, I am not changing the titles. Just toying with the idea, even talked about it with Rebel11_38, but won't be doing it.

Also, if anyone wants to try to add menus or make custom cover art, feel free.

Hal9K has been kind enough to send me his prequel edits and in the spirit of PIF I will be forwarding them onto 3 people who can promise to do the same. PM me if you are interested. I only just sent him the return package yesterday so it will probably be a week or two before I get them.

I don't mean to bump my own thread, but I just wanted to reiterate that the PIF (Pay It Forward) system for these edits has been initiated.

If you would like a copy of these edits, contact "Stossmo", "THX", or myself. I hope you love 'em.

Jabberdoo, thank you for expressing interest. Someone with a copy should PM you shortly.

In the meantime, here is the edited podrace sequence on youtube:

The video has been compressed without mercy, but it's the audio I want you to pay attention to.

I don't recognize the first musical cue. Was it from Ep I? Am I being a doofus? (Wouldn't be the first time.) Or did it come from another work. It sounds like John Williams for sure.

I would like to join the PIF conga line. Hook a brother up.

After reading the first post, I think Hal 900 should have edited these movies.
Watch DarthEvil's Who Framed Darth Vader? video on YouTube!

Trickbaxter, check your PMs.

Darth Evil, thanks for the compliment. I can honestly say that I can sit down now and actually halfway enjoy Episode II, without having to stop halfway for me to get up and stretch.
If no one else likes them, it was worth it for me.

The soundtrack for Episode III has different music for the opening shot of the film than the movie. It has a dramatic entry from the main theme into the score, rather than war drums.

If someone can provide isolated sound effects without music for the opening shot, I can try to include the alternate music.
