I must say a beautiful job was done on this Terminator release, TeamBlu has done it again. I also love the The Making of The Terminator that was added, i sure miss Stan Winston.

Hey dark_jed,  Is that the Terminator International trailer i provided you way back? Obviously color corrected and pcm audio added.

Great news - congratulations on getting these two finished. I see you've got the T2 CDS mix in there, but no indication of whether it's the one I did or not... hope it worked out!

EDIT: I had previously noticed that if I played the m2ts in MPC-HC and set the audio to the 1.0 mono, it went to half speed. When I disabled LPCM in FFdshow and forced it to use LAV Audio Splitter, the problem went away. So word to the wise - don't try to play back 1.0 mono LPCM in MPC-HC + ffdshow.

I highly doubt it'll show up on the spleen.

Got Terminator down now, and 2 is on the way. The presentation is fantastic, and the menu is really slick. Can't wait to sit down and watch these 2.

What program/s was the BD authored in?

I was perusing the threads and could not find an answer... so I apologize if it was an hiding in plain sight...  I have what is perhaps a silly question about the video for these releases...  Was the the color timing adjusted for both films in an attempt to more closely resemble those color seen back in their original releases?  Am I understanding that correctly?

Yes. I believe among other things The Terminator has had it's Green tint removed and it's presented with it's Original Audio.

T2 is the Theatrical Cut created from the best sources, (that being the Japanese Blu) and contains the original CDS mix (That won the oscar!)

i can not comment on the release in general as ive not had time to grab it yet.

Are screenshots of the releases allowed here? I'd love to know the Terminator's original color timing was.

I recently watched both of these releases, they are definitely worth acquiring.

Firstly the picture quality of both movies really stand out, with Terminator 1 you can see the colors have been improved taking away the teal which was present, and taking it back to how it should look. Terminaor 1 also includes The making of extra which was really interesting to see, as i don't think even any of the official releases have included this which is odd.

Terminator 2 no longer has the dnr which was present on the skynet edition, so now we can see the grain and detail more clearly, i am glad to see the theatrical cut was used here as i never really felt the extended scenes added anything special. I watched this movie with dd 2.0 but i think i will have to go back and watch the cdx mix :) The Guns and Roses Could You Be Mine Music video featuring Arnold, was also really cool to see as a extra.

The menu presentation of both movies is very good indeed, they have really good animations that make it look like seeing the eyes through the Terminator. I also love the cover/disc art with cards included.

Thank you for the information and clarification!  I'm in the process of grabbing T1 right now...  Really looking forward to the T2 release as it's my favorite of the two.  Also really looking forward to the non-DNR'd version this time around and paired with the CDS mix.  :-D
