Let's all just meet up at Silverwook's place.
I really don't want to create a reddit account. Why don't we just use twitter or something to reconnect should such another downtime happen?

Twitter is even less suited to this sort of thing, and I loathe it anyway. ;)
Where were you in '77?

If we go down, reconnecting at TFN might be an interesting exercise.
Have we officially ruled out carrier pigeons?
Why don't we just send each other letters when the site goes offline?

What is that, like an email?
Basically what you do is instead of sending your email, you print it off, fold it, and put it in an envelope. (Then of course, you lick some glue, fold the glued part over onto the envelope, write people's addresses on the other side, put a sticker in the corner, put your shoes (and depending on your weather, a coat, hat, gloves, etc.) on, go outside, walk over to the nearest mailbox, and push the envelope in.)
Can't we just establish a telepathic hive mind or something?
Sorry, but I like my individuality just fine. No Borg collective for me, thanks.
Nobody sang The Bunny Song in years…
What about a telepathic conference, like the the Doctors did in "The Three Doctors"?
The obvious answer is FE.org.
Edit: That image was directed toward Warbler.
Edit 2: Frink, for me that link redirects to forcedexposure.com (SFW...I think. It isn't a porn site, but I might have missed something...)

Try fanedit.org.

Wow! Imagine that. Stand well back and watch the fireworks go off !

I doubt I'd be welcome there. I was able to PM you, but that was all.
That would be like mixing matter and anti-matter. Not a good idea. ;)
JEDIT: I refer to TFN, not FE.

but in emergencies, sometimes necessary.

Why not? There was an FE thread here while it was down. Certainly we could have an off topic thread just to keep people updated. Anything beyond that I'd probably have to run it by the team first, though.

Things have changed, including the staff.

It's a bit of a climb, and the lower levels are dangerous even for Wookiees. ;)

I forgot about that. One plus is a bunch of people here already post over there.
A long outage might be a pain in the butt for you, unless you could make a subforum where project threads from here could be continued. Maybe you could keep it locked when things are hunky dory over here.
Where were you in '77?
I can make a subforum pretty easily. But I think we can cross that bridge when we get to it.

I created an account so I could PM you. It said I'd have to wait for any email and reply to it before I'd be allowed to post on the forum. I was never sent that email. I guess my account was never approved.
