So, was -1 aware that Joe had previously agreed not to disseminate Pete’s print under any circumstance?
I literally was just about to ask this myself, as it seems like it’s the main issue here. If -1 was not aware, it’s hard to blame him along with Joe.
It’s also hard to believe Mike would be this pissed at -1 if the answer was “no.”
The other question I have is how -1 found out about Joe’s scan of Pete’s print, which may also help answer the question of if -1 knew Joe was not supposed to distribute the scan.
We are on the same page here, literally and figuratively, how often does THAT happen? LOL
I also noticed that Mike said Joe “gave” said scan. There is nothing to suggest Joe was solicited or purchased by Ng1 or Tn1 to obtain the print. So if it is passed to them, are they under some legal obligation to turn down the receiving of said print if it’s being given to them? Since owning a print or scan of one isn’t letter of the law legal I’m leaning towards no.
As for the Silver Screen Edition, I thought it was sourced from the Spanish LPP print, not the Technicolor print from “Pete”.
I did hear Mike say that “Joe” paid for both scans and hard drives for retention of said scans. With the legality being iffy at best, there is nothing protecting “Pete” since he also received a scan of his print that was paid for by Joe.
The only constant in all this … those upset hate Ng1, not the anonymous members of Tn1.
What a pickle.
