I'm not sure how they work in other countries outside the US (I'd imagine similar tho) but what do you plan on doing with the money you get. I did mine back in Jan and ended up getting $700 or so back. I put a CD player in my car, paid rent and credit card bills and put the rest in checking. I can't stand when people act like it's free money and blow it all on useless shit then turn around and complain they don't have money for the important stuff.
So what did you do with yours...or whenever you get it, do you have plans for it.
BTW, i'm 19 and work part-time so obviously most of you guys will have a much bigger refund.
I paid off one of my two credit cards. It had a big balance left over from whenever I moved into my new house and needed a fridge, washer, dryer, and just for me a big screen t.v.
No tax refund for me. I will receive a refund for my health insurance no claim (when you don't use medical care you get back the no claim, weird experimental system, will be gone next year).
I did receive a tax refund, which went to pay off some old bills, but IMHO, I don't think we should be getting back tax refunds. I think there should be a flat tax and that's it. I don't like this "redistribution of wealth"---even if it benefited me, but if my taxes were cut, I'd get that money anyway, so what's the point?
