Yeah, it seems like he's pining for his own thread.  I'm almost tempted just to make a couple of innocent jabs and see what exudes.

Yeah, it's getting plenty annoying.  Too bad he doesn't play around Off Topic like twooffour did.  It was much easier to have fun with him.  Heck, I'll take a bit of credit in getting him banned, though perhaps that is arrogance on my part.  I started the "Survivor" thread just so he could see how popular he was.  And heck, beyond the occasional random post, my real activity on this site started by arguing about his grammar and his arrogance.  If nothing else, it allowed him to Ah, those were the days!  I almost want to push a few buttons on Holy Week boy, but I don't dislike him so strongly and also am more conscientious of mod action.

EDIT: ^I'm pretty sure they're not.  He's consistently maintained a very different style.  I don't think 2/4 had that much self-control, considering his lengthy posts and his willingness to ever admit that he might be wrong or that a different viewpoint might be valid.  In general, Oester has been more willing to admit a difference of opinion, while still being snappish and passive-aggressive.  I dunno, just seems different.

Easterhay disappeared about a year ago after obvious trolling posts, including fairly personal attacks on zombie's work. He doesn't seem quite as antagonistic this time. I don't think he is twooffour.

I dont have any baseless accusations or conspiracy theories, I just continue to be perplexed about one this one butthead (twooffour) seems to breed endless discussion about his buttheadness. It confused me then, confuses me now.

So many quotes to reply to, but I'll pick this one, as it exactly captures my feeling. I talk about for no reason except that it's fun. I truly find it fun! Twooffour angered me at the time, but I think now that it's all just hilarious in retrospect. So it's fun to just play around with it.

Don't forget my degree in psychology. I'm well aware of the criteria. There is a massive difference between paranoid personality disorder (an Axis II disorder, as evidenced by the "personality disorder" bit) vs., say, Schizophrenia, Paranoid Type. One is a mental illness. One is not. I'm not trying to come off as snooty, but merely stating that I'm not entirely ignorant on the topic. But in reality, we have so little to go on, how could I genuinely make such a judgment? He could be very different in reality compared to his Internet activities. Again, it's all just silly fun to me. I've gotten much better at skipping stuff that offends me (in part thanks to you Walkingdork--not that you offend me all the time, but I learned that I don't have to take offense all the time in part from our past arguments, and see how well we get along now :)

Nobody stress out about my fascination with him. Perhaps I have Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder (a distint disorder from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). ;)

maybe true, but some people still deserve to get banned.   Trolls can ruin the forum community for some people.

Why shouldn't I be concerned about someone being rude and annoying to me?   Why shouldn't I be concerned about someone disrespecting me or other forum members?   Why shouldn't I been concerned about trolls that cause problems for the forum community?  And if a troll is doing all that with a sock account, what is wrong with wanting to find his real account and holding him responsible for the things he did under the sock account?    Why shouldn't I care about the forum community, when I've been a part of it for almost 10 years(it will be 10 years in May 2013)?

I have no authority in the forum.  It is Jay's forum and only he can decide who is and who is not to be banned.  Sometimes, people that I think should be banned, won't be.   Using the ignore the button is sometimes the only other option.    Maybe if the person who is annoying you, knows that you are not reading his posts,  he'll stop posting the things that annoy you.

well, I do admit the having thin skin and a bad temper problem.   It is something that I have and continue to work on.

When I was growing up and was the victim of bullying,  I was told over and over again to ignore them.    It is is much, much easier to say ignore them than it is to actually ignore them.

did you really need to bring the cancer thing up?  I don't think it is paranoid to wonder whether or not a person, that you tried to help by creating a thread to raise money, actually has the cancer they claimed to have(especially when that person's best friend comes on the forum and says that he is lying).
