But I think Eisner is trying to install a yesman as the new CEO and he'll pull the puppet strings from the shadows.

War does not make one great.

He can try, but it's ultimately up to the board who replaces him as CEO. Just because Eisner thinks Robert Iger will be a yes man doesn't necessarily mean he will be; people change when they're in charge.

Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

I'm not sure how blowing up a theme park and killing thousands of innocent children will stop the tron remake, but if you're so gung-ho about it then I wont not try to stop you.

Comments like that will do nothing more than... secure your status within the Mangler Bros.

Tron 2.0 is a game.

I was never too fond of the movie, but I love the soundtrack, as I have mentioned above.
I'm fully aware of that.

But the same time that rumors popped up of the game, Disney was talking about creating a movie sequel as well.

They were going to release the 20th anniversary Tron DVD set (which I own), then later would come the video game, and a little after that, the new movie.

Well, it would appear that we do have a "new movie" coming...just not what I had hoped for/expected.

I REMEMBER HEARING THAT AS WELL.

Could wait for those (what are they called) "special" days.

The Rogue Novas will handle Disney. The current membership is 3: Me, Myself, and I.

Anyone interested in resisting the iron grip of both Disney and the Manglers?

Umm, I think you may want to remove the part about resisting the iron grip of the Mangles.

If you want to live that is....

Is the original tron any good? I've read that it sucked even in some gaming publications.

Tron is to 1982 what Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow was to 2003; an experiment in filmmaking that is roundly trounced by critics and audiences on initial release, but gains a rabid core of fans who appreciate it for what it is: a fascinating piece of visual storytelling where style frequently trumps substance, but in such a way as to be engrossing.

Save for one difference, Sky Captain was not roundly trounced. Many critics absolutely loved it. Tron was universally panned. There will be a rabid core of fans that will jump all over Sky Captain. I just won't be one of them.
