If anyone would who contributed here would like a significantly compressed version of this, I have a 6.4 GB compression that a film editor friend made with the larger file. Feel free to DM.

This movie is one of the unintentional comedies ever made. Especially the second half where the one guy hits the propeller. BWONGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.
Nice, but not interested in this project. Unless if there are custom trailers which mixes this movie as a horror or comedy.

Hi all,
First and foremost, mad respect for you guys and your amazing work on these preservations. As someone who found myself having to undergo a nine month research mission in order to find a piece of lost media from my childhood, I’m all too aware of how important media preservation is.

I am a blind person who loves everything Titanic; from the ship herself and her history to the numerous films about her, I have loved Titanic since I was a kid. Though I can only appreciate the audio as a blind person, I came across two clips of this 35MM preservation on Youtube and the audio is better than anything I’ve ever heard before: the VHS version, the 10th anniversary DVD, streaming services and both theatrical re-releases, none raise a candle to this.

I know I’m brand new here, but please hear me out. If someone would be so kind as to assist me in acquiring preferably the complete uncompressed version of this Titanic film scan, it would be my pleasure to provide support to another preservation project in return. The truth is that I know absolutely nothing about Star Wars: I’ve never seen any of the movies, so dare I say that the term “may the force be with you” is the extent of my familiarity with this IP. For this reason, I fear I have little to offer as far as stimulating Star Wars-related discourse is concerned. I could instead offer $100 or so towards the current Jurassic Park preservation or another project.
I would be happy to provide whatever evidence is required to prove my intent to make good on this promise.
Thank you very much in advance.

Not sure if anyone is still sharing this, but I’d love to have a copy!

If anyone would be willing to share this, it would be amazing! I’ve longed for having something without the worse color grading of the new releases.

Are you by any chance still willing to share? This is arguably my favorite movie and I would love to have another way to experience it!
