Can we work in THX 1138 - 3D as a preservation extra? I'm ready.
OK, now that I'm using [an excellent program] I can get R, G, B, and Y really accurate with yellow pretty close as well. Unfortunately, cyan and magenta are rather off, but I think that this may be due to noise and would therefore be out of my hands.

I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

There is some THX info over on AMPS that might be of interest to any true fans of the film.

Yes, we have a chance to get the stuff that dreams are made of. An opportunity that may never come our way again. Your help is needed, true believers of OMM. We need to keep things hush hush for now though.
If you haven't been contacted by AntcuFaalb yet, send him a PM.
Do it, for THX!
Do it, for the stinky shell dwellers.
Do it, for the albino lizard that lives in the wires.
Do it, for OMM!
Where were you in '77?
Please drop by, folks! We're so close.

Hey, guys! Thanks for the heads-up!
It looks like really awesome things are cooking over there. A definite must see for THX 1138 fans, and more too. While we're plugging away over here, I give it a 2 thumbs up for over there!
And "may the force be .." ... oh, wait, that's the other movie ...
Could this be a deleted scene?
Where were you in '77?
It's certainly been deleted from that site...
"Right now the coffees are doing their final work." (Airi, Masked Rider Den-o episode 1)
Aw crap. Why do these things not break in preview?

Yes, and thank Omm it is!
BTW, all SilverWook pictures & links work here. More of Omm's work? Or Lucas's?!
Give a whole new meaning to "under my thumb". ;)

I remember the drawing on the floor from other pictures. Perhaps a cut scene that never made it even into the theatrical cut

Yes, while used on the lobby cards it never made it into the film as we know it.
We want you to be aware that we have no plans—now or in the future—to restore the earlier versions.

Watched Halloween 4 this evening, and Donald Pleasence's first scene is simply walking down a long, curved, white, sterile looking hallway. Wonder if he was having flashbacks to THX when filming that? ;)

Has anyone been keeping an archive of THX 1138 images, posters, etc.?

msycamore has a great scan of the Italian poster he sent me once.
I was planning on taking pictures of all the Laserdisc editions and the Betamax tape from hell, now that I have a better camera.
Where were you in '77?
I have them all, the Italian ones I mean, they can be also found in the released Italian version as extra.
Another thing on my to do list was try to visit some of the locations, if possible. I live pretty close to where the final scene was shot, but finding the exact spot THX climbs up into the sunset 44 years later, is anyone's guess.

Easy. Just look for that big hole in the ground right near the sunset ...
And GPS it before Lucas changes that, too!

@ AntcuFaalb
I'm guessing things must be busy, but any progress on the laserdisc capture/assembly (or is it "stand by scope one")?
