Who-a-a! Those are so-o-o awesome!!
I recently purchased and scanned a 1971 US print of THX 1138. This the military version, i.e. it was put out to 16mm as a flat (or cropped) print for movie nights for the troops.
The picture and audio is in quite good condition.

Nice! This ought to be a good reference for color correcting the other two?
Where were you in '77?

This print is in really good shape! Plus the color looks great. The only negative thing I can say is that it’s cropped.
What’s the internal temperature of a TaunTaun? Luke warm.
Looks remarkable for a 16mm film, nice work!
Oh, so it’s like a Pan&Scan thing?
Ol’ George has the GOUT, I see.
Sounds about right.

Was this a first-step run-through for a check of what’s there? If not, what sort of dial-twiddling was done this far? And how much further do you take it before the next step of digital enhancement?
Theoretically, do all films go through the maximal scan (guessing that would be individual R-G-B passes at highest pixel depth with full normalization)?
Beautiful despite the flat cropping. You could hang that on the wall.
